HI everyone

It`s soon time for a LAN party and we are wondering if anyone knows some good games to play Multiplayer Lan with.
New , old or very old games.. every chategory
action - startegy - simulation - RPG - Adventure - sport ect.

C&C: Generals + Zero Hour

EDIT: NfS: Hot Pursuit 2 was is really funny in LAN.

Action: DOOM series (also see Doomsday/JDoom engine), Duke Nukem 3D, Unreal Tournament, Quake series.
Racing: Need for Speed series, Ultim@te Racing Pro (capture the flag in the arena, YEAH!), Live for Speed, Ford Racing series.

rainbow six, very good on lan, swat 4 too

Serious Sam The First Encounter and Serious Sam the Second Encounter, are both great 'Co-op' Lan games.

They are a bit older now but still great fun.

Best multilayer games are coop games I concur. These two I've had the most fun playing coop. Big.. open spaces, bright graphics and tons of foes. Just like DooM but funnier :D

counter strike is my fav lan game !

team fortress is also good, or cross fire

we always used 2 play emperror battle for dune, red alert / cnc , UT / tactical ops, all easy 2 setup 4 lan

It has to be TFC!

hl1, with funny skins, on funny maps, makes a lot of fun, hehe.

Two multiplayer games for the Gamecube which are incredible are Super Smash Bros. Melee and tar Wars Battlefront 2 Games. I know Star Wars Battlefront 2 is still active, there's an option in the settings to switch between 3rd person and 1st person anytime you want. I've been playing it online a lot because my ps3 died recently.

Cmon! A Lan party wouldnt be a party without Starcraft Brood war!

lol, yes it is but its still good to update it with new suggestions.
So your post wasn't a waste of time in my opinion ;)

cant believe i forgot system shock 2 - with the 1.1 patch it enables 4 player multiplayer co-op... was a lot of fun when i played it.. bit buggy but fun...

System Shock 2 with 4 player coop!? Wtf, never heard of that, nice one :)
