Nope.Works fine with crack for me.

When not working for you then you must play with your orignal CD :)

Stevi 27-03-2007 03:51

This game crashes often if you have a ATI Radeon card. Don't have any problems here with my old 6600 GT...

Solution from some guy -

Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance / Settings / Data Execution Prevention

.You'll see two options in that window. Click the second option that says "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.". When you are finished with that then click the ''add...'' button. It should be visible at the bottom of the box. Then you have to find where the file ''vt3.exe'' resides on your computer. (most of the time it's something like this c:\program files\sega\vt3.exe). Anyway add "vt3.exe" to that list. It'll give you a warning, just ignore it and click OK. Then you reboot and it should work just fine.

Thanks...but the Game Crashs to the Desktop. I play with the Original CD. I wait to a crackfix...

Stevi 27-03-2007 04:24

There will be NO cracfix... Crack is working fine on my 6600 GT - no crashes at all.

wolfsrain 27-03-2007 07:28

I can confirm that the Reloaded crack works fine on Nvidia(6600GT and 7600GT).Playing my brains out of this since the release.Quite addictive. Try updating video card drivers and DirectX9.0c(latest redistributable was december2006, latest web edition was february 2007)

There is also a redistibutable of the Feb2007 version available:

Joe Forster/STA 27-03-2007 09:49

Cool, DirectX link updated in the FAQ! :)

vinceac 27-03-2007 10:31

The crack works fine with the English Version only. With the Multi 5 Version crashs the crack.

Thats no graphic card problem i think, my Directx is up to date.

wolfsrain 27-03-2007 19:29

I have the Multi5, so I will test it in weekend. I will make a french install, as is the only other language than english I can understand(actually I do understand a bit of italian too, but it's at a very basic level). I will confirm or infirm if anything is wrong with the crack on the Multi5 version.

No problems playing on my 6600 either. Did you try using YASU before starting your game.

... By the way this game is really allot of fun to play so far. I loved playing Top Spin tennis for Xbox and this is a blast so far. You got to have the Xbox360 PC controller for this game on PC to really enjoy it. Also if anyone comes across some better game .exe icons for this game let me know. You can only see the VT3 on my desktop with my black background.

wolfsrain 28-03-2007 00:48

Top Spin2 on PC was awful due to the poor control. Common, moving with the mouse at a tennis game??? Virtua Tennis 3 is an excellent port, especially if you have a high end PC capable of working with the High Definition resolution.
I've also played the both games on consoles and the difference it's major if you don't have that high-end PC.

Zubas 31-03-2007 04:32

I can confirm in multi version the crack doesnīt work.

Sorry but iīm spanish, and i have looked too many spanish forums, and nobody has found a solution.

When you finish a match most times appears and error, and launch you to desktop

wolfsrain 31-03-2007 05:28

Tested on the french install, worked fine. I will test on the spanish and italian next week.

The problem usually appers me when you are finishing a torneum, in torneum mode and in world mode (this last i donīt remember well how is really called)

After you are reciving money

Thank you very much :o :o

djsolidsnake86 31-03-2007 07:03

the game crash randomly to desktop
i have an x800xt

coo 31-03-2007 10:38

Crashes randomly to desktop here aswell, crack, and images/masking all crash.

radeon 9550.

Game runs fine when it runs, just closes on my after a while.

wolfsrain 31-03-2007 11:14

I'm starting to see a pattern here: seems that all the folks having crashes are owners of some ATI cards. That means it's either game related, either driver related. I'm pretty deep in the game and never experienced crashes. On my both computers the videocard is from Nvidia(6600 and 7600).

fa610 01-04-2007 05:09

Hi there

Problem almost solved i think for SUMO-digital has brought out the 1.01 patch

looking forward to a similar crack 1.01 exe...

iīm agree with you, all the people with problems have an ATI card

wolfsrain 01-04-2007 05:46

From patch's notes:

Change Log
=========================
- Fix crash on ATI hardware.
- Depth of field on nVidia Geforce 6+ hardware.
- Controller can be used to navigate the menu system.
- Better performance on multi-threaded processors.
- Fixed crashes caused by ALT-TAB.
- Prevented multiple copies of the game from running simultaneously.
- Various minor graphical glitches.

So it was the devs fault, not crack related.

coo 01-04-2007 14:15

Solved my problem with the game atleast. No, more crashing, images/masking working fine.

dyoung_nz 02-04-2007 04:05

1.01 Patch + Crack

For all those with ATI cards and are having problems, all you have to do is d/l the new 1.01 patch from http://sumo-digital.com/patches/VT3_patch_300307.exe and install it then go to here to d/l the new 'Virtua Tennis 3 v1.01 [MULTI5] No-DVD/Fixed EXE' crack and all ur problems should disappear.

Zubas 02-04-2007 05:38

it works with that patch.

installing it, and using this no-cd crack

pc_virtua_tennis_3 [MULTI5] No-DVD Fixed Image 2

thank a lot.

akaliptos_is_back 02-04-2007 10:27

hello from greece.

i followed the advices for the patch version 1.01 and the new crack but now it says that it is required a graphic with pixel shader 2.0.

i have an ati radeon 9200 series. does anyone know if this card has this pixel shader or how i can check this out?

thanks a lot

wolfsrain 02-04-2007 10:35

The 9250 series has pixel shader 1.4 if I remember corectly. So you need a video card upgrade(try an ATI X1650). There are versions on both AGP and PCIe and I think you can get it at around 100-150$.
Most of the recent games are requiring from X600 up to X1950(for ATI) or 6600 to 8800(for Nvidia).
I suspect that you are on AGP slot so your options are ATIX1650 or Geforce7800(Nvidia). Both are the last releases for AGP. The AGP slot won't get other videocards, as AGP slot does not uses the DirectX10 from Vista.

Your card is not supported. Sorry!
You will have to buy a new one(my recommendations for AGP are ATIX1650 or Geforce7800 or Geforce 7600GT with 512MB videoRAM). All can be found at decent prices(up to 150$) and should work for another year or two, if you intend to remain on AGP. Otherwise a change of PC is recommended, especially if you play a lot of games.

-HeX- 04-04-2007 14:35

Hi!

I tried the 1.01 crack from Razor, apparently is not working properly. I was creating a new player to play the world tour and when i tried to edit the body it gives me a big error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: x:\Virtua3\VT3.EXE

R6002
-Floating point not loaded

Can anyone confirm this is a bad crack error? It doesn't happen with the reloaded v1.0 crack. Thanks!

Note: I'm also having crashes to desktop using a 7900GT :(

atreyu 04-04-2007 14:43

yes, i get the same error ... using radeon x1600 pro
every time i try to play a training match or try to play with my custom player in the versus mode, i get that

-HeX- 04-04-2007 16:11

I'm not having the same problem with the maxsound v1.01 crack. I will make a full test later. Try doing the same atreyu

Thanks!

Im getting the same error using the crack. THe game works fine otherwise (if you avoid the training sessions)

Just to clarify, the game will crash when you enter a training session with a star player - not the normal machine training.

a2nstyler 05-04-2007 00:53

u kno..i actually got it working
it doesnt crash anymore
u go into config..and turn off "self shadowing"
it doesnt crash anymore but its still unplayable
it lags like no tomorrow so yeah
just letting u guys kno

and play now for 3hours without any crash

-HeX- 06-04-2007 09:12

Yes! The Maxsound crack works great! Thanks! :D

Got the same error when editing new player options. I'm pathed up and running nocd.exe Can't remember which one. Didn't have this problem before the patch.

Geforce 6600 here and crashing. I'll repatch and see what happens.

Using the 1st nocd.exe for 1.01 and no problems so far? weird.

wolfsrain 26-04-2007 22:37

Use the MAXsound crack for 1.01 patch. With the crack for 1.0 there were no problems for Nvidia cards owners. The ATI problems were due to game bugs and they were solved with patch 1.01.
