The "brandnew" Gothic III crack...
 

Can somebody confirm that the just released Gothic III - crack is the real deal?
It didnt do it with my version (german). And some guys from gulli:board also tried. No effect... is it a fake or what?

I donwloaded a crack by Razor 1911. I tried it on the German version and it didn't seem to work.

It's a fake!
 

All of the .dll files in the crackarchive are some m$ dll files, just renamed..
you can see that in the properties! no crack out yet, we still have to wait :D

huh? really? didn't think Razor would release fake crack. Or is it someone else who made the rar, but then how did he make the nfo

copy and paste probably. ;) then some changes in the text that it fits, done.

I have the English version and that crack did NOT work for me.. it's worth noticing that files that come with the crack and are supposed to be copied into the game directory and into the win directory, are not present in those directories..
About nfo, anybody, who ever saw some *.nfo from razor, can make a false one..
And please, excuse all mistakes I could done, I'm from Slovakia :)

apparently fake, also apparently contains trojans, so i hope those of you who checked it out also did a virus/trojan scan..

nope, antivir xp doesnt detect any trojan in the Razor 1911 fake release. there was another crack on torrent though which did have a trojan

When u don´t wanna use u r Original DvD, u can use Virtual CD v8 ;) .It seems to be working. Mybe it come a Tetris img in the Future :rolleyes:

I disassembled some dlls and for me is a great fake: some code use DCOM services, for me is 100% spyware or troyan.
I very disagree that some one use RAZOR1911 name for produce and distribute this shit.

Can you explane how to use Virtual CD v8 ?
i downloaded the image, and burned it
i made an image with virtual cd v8 and mounted it
but it didnt work

Scorpio can you tell me the setting for virtual cd 8 to make a good image, which will work? and about how long it took, cause it seemed to find a problem for me.

It would be retarded now to download 3.5 giga just to be able to play the game without my dvd :P

lol the fake files didn´t even overwrite existing files cos the names don´t exists :rolleyes:

All cracks that has been released are fake. I don't think there will be any crack for the game until the US version hits the shelves (2006-11-20). US version will be protected by SecuROM v7 so reloaded or razor1911 should be able to crack it pretty fast. Hope it'll work on EU version too... :)

It is a crack out but only for Vista :(

Fake, fake, fake, fake and fake.

Wait for the US version to be released and you'll see a real crack pop up from a real group that can crack.

Is Tages uncrackable ?
RLD did a good job with AOW:HT, did it recently turn into an Sf like protection ?
(Course, it was hard before, but it didnt take RLD years)...
So I guess either will RLD crack Tages just for the fun and respect or they will wait for Securom (smart, but they might lose the race against Razor)...

I wouldn't play Gothic3, anyway, even if you force me with a gun, that's a huge no-no for me, RPGs x( Pfui

And it took over an year to get a crack for fahrenheit. Maybe gothic also needs this time. :cool:

I thought Jowood would give their new protection a whirl with G3.

Don't forget they just cracked Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern too, another Tagés protected game that had numerous 'attempts' at a release :)

Well, once they know how to do it (how to succed ?!), they seem to work kind of automatic, almost every new SF game is cracked by RLD, now they seem to be bored by SF and switched over to the next "uncrackable" protection :o
