Just wondering if there was a patch to get past the "please insert the correct dvd-rom" message.

Play with your original DVD.

* Replace the original MAINAPP.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
* Play the Game!

Now that I got that first problem solved, I'm getting "the wrong volume is the drive. Please insert volume MADDEN07 into drive" message

the game needs a backup dvd (disc check still present)

Erm is this similar to ToCa 3 ?
RLD removed SF from the app, but I had to remove the actual CD check myself (Call CheckCD -> Mov EAX, 1 :D - even faster as no CD is ever checked)
Or does the game need files on the DVD in order to run properly ?

most of the EA Sport games does include a simply dvd-check only appearing once the game is started.

nope but if the game would require some files from the disc you can simply copy them to your installdir and fix the exe to not check for the files on cd/dvd ;)

if you wanna play without cd,
you just need to change the path in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA SPORTS\Madden NFL 07
CD Drive = ".\"
and
Installed From = ".\"

and game will run without cd :)
no need to patch anything in the exe :P

I tried changing the registry and it still does not work. Does anyone kno if the new crack is out?

yep I just tryed changing the reg and I tryed replaced the miniapp.exe with the one that was supplied in the crack folder as well.. Nothing.. anyone got any other solutions?

Okay...I'm new to gamecopyworld! I don't know how get to the crack folder or file archive to get what ever file to replace the mainapp.exe file...How do I do this exactly??? I see the mainapp.exe file in WinRar so how do I replace it in that window and get this game started....where is the full installation? or is this "mainapp.exe" the full installation and I have to replace it with some other file before I open it? I don't know....I need help though!

Read the 'nfo' file which comes with the cracks. Open the nfo file with 'Notepad'.

On your original discs of course! Read the Forum Rules before asking any more questions.

Extract the executable from the RAR archive, using WinRAR, into the game's installation directory. (Obviously, before running the game.) The .nfo file, that usually comess with cracks, as well as the forum FAQ describes this. Full installation is when you don't leave anything on the CD/DVD but install all necessary files onto the hard disk. (So that the CD/DVD is only needed for proving you have an original. Until you crack it, that is...)
