Desperados 2 don´t working with the min image and tools
 

Hello!
I would like to play with pleasure the play desperadoes 2. I do all that what I must do for fixed image, as well as it stands in the GCW info to image. It comes with me with start the mistake that the security module could not be explained. What does this lie with, that this mistake comes and how can I repair him?
I have uninstall the game, the bug come, too.

Grizzly, which protection does your game use ? TAGES or Securom ? The new english version uses Securom, I believe that the German version uses TAGES. Your error message sounds like a Securom message but it would be handy if you could show the error message exactly like it is (even if it's in german). If it does Securom, you should be able to use CureRom to get past the message.

Is there a version with Securom? I only knew there were some tages version in stores. Hopefully there might be a crack someday then as I am really wanting to buy this game but I also want a crack for it. But if there is no crack soon I just might get it anyway, also depends on the protection on the retail here in sweden...

as far as i know its tages on the dvd version, securom on the cd version.. im not totally sure if this is the same in usa though

Do a search on the forum for "security module could not be loaded" or "activated" you will see why

AFAIK that's a Securom error, so look for that on the forum.

If somebody can write to me a readme as with securitymodul remove functioned. I simply do not get further there...

Start with the FAQ; this error is explained there explicitly.

I give up it now first. do become for that plays "Toca Race Driver 3" and "Desperados 2" still right cracks come? if what is already known there or gives it for it none more.

ToCa: most likely not.
Desperados: The German release definetaly is SR7 (due to Atari), so it's very likely for a crack to appear in no-time, maybe this one works with the DVD version, too ?!

Io faccio tutti i passaggi che le note dicono di fare per la crack, (sostituendo il file .exe, ed eseguendo il gioco con asr.exe) ma appena eseguo il gioco con Alchol 120% o DT4 mi dice : SI PREGA DI INSERIRE L'ORIGINALE DI DESPERADOS 2........

HO PROVATO IN 2000 modi..... STO USCENDO PAZZO......
PERFAVORE QUALUNO MI AIUTI

P.s: non è che sia colpa del file di immagine .iso che non è stato fatto ad arte??.

Excuse me, but the crack system for the Desperados 2 on the game copy world mirrors no run.
The first fixed image don't run and the second block all system when I try to emulate on the DT4.
Everybody have other method?

i used all 2 cracks. i mounted the mini image (or maxi image - it depends by crack); modified the property of file desperados2.exe (compatibility windows 2000 first, then NT), click to asr.exe but i received the same error: conflict with disc emulator software.
go to http://www.securom.com/emulation_detected.

tell me if i followed the right process.

never replace desperados2.exe from gcw. just use the maxi image. start asr choose your desperados2.exe from your game folder, then it should work.

i have installed the dvd version. i downloaded the maxi image crack with desperados2.exe and the file asr.exe

The retail, I assume...
So just perform a clean install from original DVD and it should work :)

download crack from gamecopyworld.
copy the files from the rar file (you got from gamecopyworld) to the directory of the game. replace the old exes with the new files.
run, works ;)

That is the correct process. However, Securom 7 can be tricky and sometimes works with Securom_Loader (asr), other times with CureRom etc. For Stronghold 2 patch 1.3.1 for example neither program worked with a selfmade image, I could only use it with the original cd in my optical drive. Until on a whim I tried simply disabling my secondary IDE channel (optical drive) and it worked. Try it yourself...

Also, did you try the latest CureROM ? If you already have CureROM installed, or this latest version also doesn't work, try renaming the CureROM executable to something else, since I've noticed that some copy protections look for a running curerom.exe process...

Download the Desperados 2 [EURO] No-CD/Fixed Image #2 from GCW

download curerom (rename exe file) mount maxi file and play :cool: :D

it means its detected your disk is a copy and not the original... quite obvious really ... or the image is really bad (presuming you used some virtual drive hider program)

you must disconnect your secundairy IDE... otherwise, you will get the same message again...

Have you tried disabling it in the device manager like I suggested ? You may not need to physically disconnect it.

Crack for Desperados 2 submitted to GCW. Should be avaible in the next update.

Only for CD-version as far as I am aware as the DVD uses Tages 5.5 and the cracked version is for Securom v7.

Edit: looked into it a little more and it seems as if the crack will work with any version of the game. Both CD and DVD versions!
