LotR: BfME1 v1.03 fixed "game.dat" needed
guys
i need a fixed game.dat for the version 1.03 this is about bfme 1 so NOT 2. |
There is no fixed file @GCW.
Maybe a mini-image could work. Try it. http://m0003.gamecopyworld.com/games...le-earth.shtml Greets |
ok but whta is a mini image?
|
Read the FAQ.
|

sorry i readed the faq but i really dont get the hole mini image's does someone has it for me?
|
- Download the Mini Image from here (choose a mirror).
- Download Daemon Tools from here (choose 4.03 x86, if you have a 32 Bit Windows, choose x64 if you have a 64 Bit Windows; if you have no idea, choose 32 Bit!) - Install Daemon Tools (reboot if it is neccessary). - Now, start Daemon Tools 4.03 and mount the Mini Image - If you haven't updated your game to version 1.03, do it! - See the faq for other information, about this process or about the programs. If you still have questions, ask! ;) Here you will find much help about Daemon Tools: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/daemonhelp.php Greets |

Yes, this thread is about the first game, as the thread title also clealr describes!
|
Hoping that Deviance will make a NO-DVD for BFME1 v 1.03 since they recently released a working NO-DVD for BFME2 v 1.03
|
Yes PLEASE. I'm also eagerly awaiting the 1.03 patch for lotr bfme 1. Keep up the good work people. If anybody knows something about this versions release, please post something. :)
|
I guess they consider this game "too old" or something. It's a shame because that 1.03 patch sure fixes a lot of balance problems in this game.
Where's DEVIANCE's e-mail when you need it ;) PS. You can always use the mini-image though! |
For those of you who still want to play Battle for Middle-earth 1 without the disc: I found a link for version 1.03 at Game Burn World
|
Can you, please, upload it via http://ul.gamecopyworld.com?

Hi,
The LotR: Battle for Middle-Earth v1.03 [ENGLISH] No-DVD Patch 11-01-2007 by Bio (filename "LotR_BfME_1.03_NoDVD.rar"), hosted on GameCopyWorld at the following address: here includes in it a Downloader trojan (http://securityresponse.symantec.com...323-99&tabid=2) There is no alternative game.dat file hosted on GCW for 1.03. Hope this helps. |
Man if people were to hang themselves at the sight of every false positives the world would be practically empty.
For other people if your AV says there is a Virii, try other free online scanners and test the file you will be suprised to see that they dont record a trojan. And Norton AV is well known for scaremongering. It attempts to scare you with false positives in the hopes you will continue to stay with them, when in actual fact its one of the worse AV's out there. But in fairness I scanned the file and some AV's reported a trojan, I had a closer look at the file but didnt find anything suspicious. |
<yawn> Read the forum FAQ and the top of all game pages for infos on (falsely reported) viruses inside crack packages...
|
I dont think 8 AV's finding a trojan counts as a 'false-positive'

Like I said I had a look, and there is nothing suspicious with the coding.
