You been living under a rock?

Starforce is one of the most hideous inventions since the chastity belt. It wraps all that scrummy gaming goodness in a tight protective shell and defies you to get inside!

dfcalex 05-03-2006 19:53

See that what i mean...:(:( what exacly is it..

Dreakon 05-03-2006 20:13

It's basically the protection some companies are using to abolish no-cd cracks for and the piracy of their games, and for most games... in most cases... it's working...

Follow the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starforce

It's basically a very intrusive protection that is installed as a driver whenever you play/install a StarForce game.

put it in a list if you would be soo kind...

Joe Forster/STA 07-03-2006 04:21

Read the FAQ and SEARCH on the forum; there are many threads about the POP series. (You didn't even state which game you want cracked...)

dfcalex 07-03-2006 16:12

i was asking for prince of persia two thrones..if anyone has a link to insturctions, i have slow internet and im lucky enought to check on here..anyways thanks

Joe Forster/STA 08-03-2006 06:38

Disable the display of images, animations and popups, and your Internet connection will start flying like a fighter airplane.

dfcalex 09-03-2006 14:54

sooo..does anyone have a list of directions to bypass the king kong/ prince of persia THE two thrones cd..or am i just wasting my time!?:confused:

Grumpy 09-03-2006 16:51

@dfcalex
Use the 'Search' button! You may just find what you are looking for. ;)

BarryB 09-03-2006 16:57

There is no ' Nocd/dvd crack' for these games so your going to have to make your own or download a mini-image (or maybe a maxi-image!).

Then you have to mount the mini/maxi image in Daemon Tools, maybe have to unplug your IDE CD/DVD devices, and then run the game and hope it works!

Why not just stuff your original CD/DVD in the drive instead, it's a lot less bovver than a hovver!!

dfcalex 09-03-2006 19:13

NO NO NO, i dont care about no cd cracks, i wanna no how to bypass the ubisoft cd procetion thingy, or am i just wastin my time and cant bypass it..anyways holla

Grumpy 09-03-2006 19:50

@dfcalex
I guess you dont really understand! 'BarryB' has told you how to get around the 'protection thingy'!
That is the only way, for now.
I will have to agree with Barry though and say that you would be better off just using the original disc to play, especially if you find the methods he suggested to difficult. ;)

BarryB 10-03-2006 02:00

@dcfalex: WHY do you want to bypass the protection? Does the original game have problems running on your machine or CD/DVD drive?

dfcalex 10-03-2006 14:57

I lost my cd key from the ubisoft, and im tryin to find a way go get past the cd key, but i dont understand anything that you guys are saying, im only 14, thats why...yes im young to be doing this but i got some freinds that have showed me alittle bit, i need a list of ways to bypass the ubisoft cd key, please and thank you

Now you have got me curious! Originally you asked, and I quote:

directions to bypass the king kong/ prince of persia THE two thrones cd
So are you saying you have lost the CD Key for all 3 games!? A bit careless and suspicious dont you think? Even for a 14 year old!
We are not stupid here you know! :rolleyes:

dfcalex 10-03-2006 20:17

first of all, i only says that i lost the cd key to prince of persia, king kong i burnt, and where did you get the 3 games?:eek: :eek: :eek: :confused:

Grumpy 11-03-2006 02:43

@dfcalex
Well yes my error on the '3 games', I misread!
But until now you never said you had burnt King Kong! So one can only presume you meant you had lost the CD Key to both games!

BarryB 11-03-2006 06:40

Either way, dfcalex, you must contact Ubisoft for a replacement CD Key as they are the only ones who can issue you a new one anyway. It's far easier than trying to bypass the protection.

rlsuth 11-03-2006 07:38

Isn't this a direct contravention of forum rule #2? Just curious.
