Does not work with curerom for me, did anyone get to play it?

no i got that game but it diddnt work with any methods which are working with empire at war...so i need help, too.

Please keep the "Protection List"-Forum clean of questions about how to make a backup copy work........

Mount your copy from the game.Use AntiSecuROM and select the game exe(Crashday.exe).Then play :).That works for me fine :)

unplug your cdrom and play :) (cuz they are always unpluged :)))))

works for me ..
or use anti securom ..

I use CureROM, Daemon-Tools 4.03 and windows 2000 compatibility mode and its works without unplug the cdrom.

I have understand but u can not read the first line??

all that methods didnt work for me..i get always the warning that the original disc can not be found or authorizised...
Perhps its the .B5T file of my image which is damaged.. can somenone send me this file pls??

My head's falling off, can't get it to work. I tried everything what you guys say, except unplugging my CD-ROM because I'm not on a desktop. Any other suggestions? :)

I have send the no cd crack for this game to GCW.Its from Reloaded the crack.Works great :).Have fun with it.

I cant seem to find it on GCW.. do I have to wait for it or what?

u hear a loading sound for a few seconds then everything just returns to the desktop, ridiculous :mad:

no nothing works, its all the same

Did you try setting the games exe file to use windows 2000 compatabilty mode, I don't have the game myself but I know that fixes issues with some other game cracks.

If it doesnt work with your original disc then contact the game publisher for help as we are not actually a Tech support site. ;)

I think this is not a problem with the game, but with SecuROM, I get the same problems with my Tony Hawks game, which also uses SecuROM 7. (yes, using original disc, and tried using an image with curerom.) But got the same problem.

perhaps he meant the crack doesnt work with the original cd in as well, but as you say, if it was the case that the original exe does not work with the original cd in then he should contact technical support.. but well if it didnt work with the original exe then i think we would have seen a lot more people bitching about it :)

sorry, I cannot confirm this. no probs with fixed exe here. Curerom method + image works as well.

BUT only if I rename it to anything other than crashday.exe, for example if I name it Testcrashday.exe it works...what is really weird though is that the cracked exe won't run even with the original disk if it is named crashday.exe, but hey, like I said, rename it and it works

I dont think i should say in Every post that im trying to use the fixed exe.
As for my Sig everyone should have something like that for the rest to determine if something in his rig is causing the problem.

Renaming the fixed exe doesnt work at all.

Whats the point of a fixed exe if i am to use an image ???
I could use the AntiSecureRom to run the original exe with an image.....

id preffer to have a fixed exe and still mount an image rather than having the fixed exe and it not working

maybe ya should just look at it that way :P

Yo dudes whats this *******s at ten paces,lol. Thot we were talking about CRASHDAY nocd? anyhows this game only works for me using the origonal disk or mounting & using CureROM. Reloadeds NoCD .exe was a nogo for me :(

P.S. What i did notice is the origional exe file opens up a dos box before running game,where as reloaded's does nothin? as if you havent run file go figure!

P.P.S. Before anyone says... ive never had any probs running software on this setup! ;)

NoCD works fine for me, just copied to the game dir and renamed the original of course.
Not running any crap like curerom, it runs without the disk.

Nforce 4, SATA HDD, Pioneer 110 connected via IDE.

Hello? Anyone having probs with the reloaded patched exe, did you try changing its name like I said to see if it works? Its the only way it will work for me, the original .exe I left as crashday.exe, the patched .exe I named testcrashday.exe and then it worked, if I leave it as crashday.exe it won't even work with the original cd in the drive.....go figure.


Hellasvagabond, noticed you have an X2 processor, some games have probs with those....not to mention 2gb of ram, but I doubt it.....say, did you install from the original cd or did you install from an image of the original cd, I installed from the original, and I can run it with an image and curerom, or with the reloaded fixed .exe renamed, or from the original with the original .exe.

By renaming the fixed exe the window wont even appear anymore....
I can run the game using either the original exe with the cd in the drive or the original exe with antisecurerom and an image...
