Have you tried all the sites listed in the respective forum sticky and the FAQ?

i search all other sites and there is no nocd patch. can someone create an nocd for curling 2006, please?

What protection does it use? Use ProtectionID or A-Ray Scanner (see the FAQ for download URL's).

I used PiD 5.0 and it reported back:

I think it's enough. I already have two EXE's, don't know what the difference between them is, and there's no version info embedded into them either... :)

and which files do u need, for making a nocd-patch for curling? here are all files from the mainfolder:

curling2006.exe
ijl10.dll
OpenAL32.dll
wrap_oal.dll
data\

Me too - it has to be possible!

If you really want to play, use your original cd until there is a crack available.

It was very simple! Please, download the (possible) crack from http://sta.c64.org/shared/curl2k6.zip . There's a separate crack for the "2006 Jan 21" and "2006 Feb 3" versions; apply them to Curling2006.exe (run them in the directory where the EXE is). Report problems, if any. If it works, I'll submit it to GCW. Happy gaming!

i've tried the 2006 Jan 21 version and it dosen't work.

Wow, then try the other one! <sigh> If that doesn't work either, send your Curling2006.exe file (zipped!) to me via E-mail and I'll upload the crack for it in a few minutes.

i just tried it and it didn't work but with an other error.

when i try it, it loads the game, and after the intro thing it just goes off,
is this due to the crack not working or is there another problem?

Try it without a crack. (I don't know and I can't even test it because I don't have the game, only the main executable that forum members sent to me...)

Ohhh! See the log file, called FIRE.LOG, that the game creates; can you find the apparent reason for the crash in it?

there's load's of
Bad attribute line: errors in the log,
all different things at the end of the line though
could i send someone the file, see if they can pick out the problem?

Again, TRY IT WITHOUT A CRACK first.

thanks, works fine for me. I ran the 1/21 file from within the same directory as the curling2006.exe (no crack)

now does anyone speak German......

Either of those cracks work for me.
Only the intro video and then CTD.
Made a clean installation, run regedit and cleaned all before.
Here's few lines from FIRE.LOG:

I don't get it. The crack (read: one of the cracks) works for some you but not for some others?

@vrdxg: Are you sure the game runs properly with your original CD, without a crack?!
