GTA: San Andreas Maxi-Image

Hiya guys,
One maxi-image for GTA: San Andreas V1.0/ V1.01
Blindwrite image, mount in DT4 & use Securom Burner Loader. (Some people may only need to use device manager to disable thier CD-Drives)
http://rapidshare.de/files/12116768/...I_LZR.rar.html
Has been uploaded to GCW now :D

Cheers

Nice to see you figured it out leezer :)

Zulu 29-01-2006 15:04

Hope you mentioned that Blindwrite or Autoplay standalone have to be installed  ;)

leezer3 29-01-2006 15:26

It shouldn't need to be?!
DT4 mounts Blindwrite images with no problems at all, and I don't see why it needs to be installed at all. (This isn't for burning to a DVD)

Anyone who can confirm this?

-Leezer-

Zulu 30-01-2006 03:32

Just uninstall Blindwrite and you may confirm yourself ... maybe i should, too ;)

leezer3 30-01-2006 05:02

Nope, uninstalling Blindwrite did nothing.
The image also works perfectly on the laptop, which has never had Blindwrite installed.

All these years i thought that in contrast to RMPS Autoplay is also needed for images ...so at least i won't die dumb :D

Grumpy 30-01-2006 07:33

@Zulu
See its good to see you can still learn something new after all these years. :)
I make it a point to try and learn something new everyday. The only problem is, for every one thing I learn, I forget 4 things I knew!! :D

Joe Forster/STA 30-01-2006 07:56

@leezer3: If I may ask, forget Rapidshare; after having waited for 40 minutes, it just displayed to me that I need to wait for (another) 75 minutes. This is insane!

leezer3 30-01-2006 08:14

Sounds to me like you're on a shared IP, and someone who is using the same IP is d/ling using rapidshare.

Try this one:

(I'm at work but I don't think any of my colleagues would even know about Rapidshare.) Thanks for the other upload but this is even worse: It complains about no vcXMLRPC support (so what?), then the stupid adverts overlay half of the code entry box and (when I save the picture, open it offline and enter the code) then it just goes to the site index page, no download starts. Well done! :( (I'm using Opera. Perhaps, these guys never heard of it and tested their site with stupid M$IE only?)

leezer3 30-01-2006 09:19

Sorry, dunno
Personally, I use Firefox with Adblock plus installed, and the site works perfectly albiet with a few misplaced links. Waiting for it to come up on GCW.............

-Leezer-

Joe Forster/STA 30-01-2006 09:38

Yeah, I'm not in a hurry either (as I don't have much time for gaming anyway :) or :(), I was talking about Rapidshare in general...

Vortex1988 31-01-2006 20:22

Need help.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to use the image files. Do I burn one of the files with BlindWrite 5?

Thanks! :)

leezer3 01-02-2006 01:01

Hiya,
Mount with DT4 & use Securom burner loader. (Remember that this is a maxi-image & should not be burned!)

Cheers

confirmed to work?

Joe Forster/STA 01-02-2006 04:25

For information on how to use image files, read the FAQ.

leezer3 01-02-2006 05:14

Ok, first make sure your copy of GTA San ANdreas is a freash copy that has patch 1.01 installed and no cd/DVD cracks installed on it. Then extract all the files in the Winrar (the one with the image file in it) to a folder. Then I mounted the file with DT4, with emulation opptions off (According to my friend the game will still run with all emulation options on, but I run the game with them off). Securom 7 Burner Loader never worked for me. Then I downloaded a program called SR7. Stop (which also is available at Game copy world). After, downloading the program, I ran it and I clicked on the hide button. After that I clicked on GTA San Andreas and the game started to work with no CD/DVD. to confirm it was the game was running Version 1.01, I looked at the right bottom part of the main menu of GTA San Andreas and it said ver. 1.01, also the bugs in the game were fixed. After your done playing the game, click restore on SR7. Stop and close the program. You have to run the program everytime you want to play Grand theft Auto San Andreas 1.01. :)

*A little bit offtopic*
There is a successor of SR7.Stop called Pr0t.St0p; SR7.Stop doesn't work anymore for newest Securom versions (e.g. Torino 2006, Patches for Serious Sam 2 and Psychonauts).
Of course there are many other AB programs like the AntiSecuROM.exe from DAEMON Tools site or CureROM.

Hi, I just tested the successor of SR7. Stop, Pr0t.St0p and it works perfectly, with Grand Theft Auto San Andreas 1.01.

Vortex1988 03-02-2006 20:47

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas 1.01 ".exe" no CD/DVD crack out!

Sorry to go off topic, but I just wanted to tell you that there is a ".exe" crack out for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas 1.01 at Game Copy World. The crack is for the Euro version of Grand Thefat Auto San Andreas, but it also works on the USA version. I have tested the crack on a USA version of GTA San Andreas and it works perfectly, no CD/DVD needed. :)

I did all this and it worked a few times but I forgot to start SR7. Stop when I started San Andreas and know all I get is an error message stating "the disc could not be authinecated". Help!

Joe Forster/STA 13-02-2006 04:07

Try the new real no-CD patch for the 1.01 update. If it works, get rid of the mini images. ;)

SamFisher 14-02-2006 13:01

it works perfectly.. my thanks to deviance ;)
