does exist a no-dvd for that patch?thank ypu very much
ciao

Grumpy 25-11-2005 23:13

If you had of used the Search button you would have found out there is not a NoCD/DVD exe for the v1.2 update but you can still use a mini image to play. ;)

Megaschwanz 26-11-2005 07:43

Yes and the image works without any further tool like recommended "SD4 Hider". ?????

The image has size 0,3 MB packed and 1 GB unpacked  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a very large mini image

The normal MiniImage from BF2 is still working, also with BF2:SF !!!
It's only 4 MByte !!!

Smood47 26-11-2005 08:27

My Bleh mini-img is NOT working with v1.03 (I' am dloading the new patch to try it out but the 1.03 patch is not working). Do you guys have WinXP SP2 ? Because I think SP2 might be necessary to play starforce games (I have SP1).

I' am using Daemon tools 4 and disabled my IDE drives as well as mounted the file. The starting img comes up, it the screen goes black like the game is about to load... but then it goes back to desktop (no error message).

The funny thing is, the game WORKS with v1.00 and the bleh image. But if I patch to 1.03 it will not work anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT:

It works! After I applied the latest patch and then used Bleh's img with DT4 it works!

Can I play online with this mini image?

I have the original DVD with an original Key, but after 5 months of using it, it looks not healthy any more...

Won't my serial be blacklisted if I play online?

Chris

Yes, you can play online with this mini-image.
No, your serial-key will not get blacklisted.

Hi,
i have a problem playing battlefield 2 v1.12 because as someone as already said
the games turns back to the desktop when it starts loarding. I tried using the mini image as you guys said but it didn't worked so i have a question. Is it possibile that the mini image isn't working because my BF2.exe file is a no-cd for the 1.0 version? If yes, can someone send me the original bf2.exe file via messenger? (deathscorpion89**********com) I don't want to install it again only to get the original BF2 file....Thanks :)

kosmiq 30-11-2005 11:58

A simple rule to avoid trouble is to create a backup of the original .exe before cracking the game.

Noone will send you any files either so.. You gotta reinstall.

Melkiah 30-11-2005 12:38

So the problem is the modified .exe file?

EDIT: i reinstalled the game but it's still not working...same problem as before: starting incon, black screen and back to windows without any message...what can i do? :(

Grumpy 30-11-2005 16:38

@Melkiah
Reinstall the game (this you have already done), install the updates, dont use any NoCD cracks, mount the mini image and play.

Melkiah 01-12-2005 04:58

Thats what i did...but it's not working yet :(

Grumpy 01-12-2005 05:15

The black screen problem usually points to the Display drivers you are using. Make sure you are in fact using the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Melkiah 01-12-2005 05:32

Never mind, i installed it again an now works, thanks everyone for the help :)

Grumpy 01-12-2005 05:39

Glad to hear. ;)

Anyone have idea, how to ENCODE the CD key? I mean, in the registers, instead of classic BF2 cd key is something like this:

Code:

I tried the support directory stuff a little, but no help. Maybe I doing something wrong? Is there are any encoder of CD key for BF2? (1.12)

DABhand 05-12-2005 04:14

Why would you want to DECODE that when your cd-key is on your game case?

shawshank 09-12-2005 22:23

I'm getting the exact same problem :(

It goes black, but I think it's the problem I'm having just installing the new Battlefield 2 patch.

with the 1.0 , the mini-image works perfect

PRPrincess631 06-01-2006 23:07

You update the game to V1.12, then you used the crack for V1.0. No wonder why it is not working !!! Use the MiniImage by BLeH! and DaemonTools or Alcohol120% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRPrincess631 07-01-2006 09:15

Mini Image????

I forgot to put that I do use it the version 1.0 after it's done patching....but I haven't used the mini images I tried but I can't figure out what to do I think I'm reading too much into it :/

Grumpy 07-01-2006 19:36

@PRPrincess631
Install the game, then install the Update.
Download and install Daemon Tools. When installed you will now have a virtual drive listed in Windows Explorer. (A virtual drive is like a fake CD/DVD drive.)
Download the 'Battlefield 2 [ALL] No-DVD/Fixed Image #2' (created by Bleh) mini image from GameCopyWorld.
Once downloaded unrar the mini image.
In the system tray (bottom right hand side of your desktop) you have a red icon (its the Daemon Tools icon. It is a Red box with a white circle in it with a red lightning strike thru it).
Right click the Daemon icon and go to 'Virtual CD/DVD-Rom', then go to 'Device 0: [the letter of your drive:] No Media', then to 'Mount Image'. Browse to where you unrar'd the mini image. Click on the Mini Image and then click 'Open'.
Another Explorer Window will open. Close the Window which opens!
Now, go to the normal Battlefield 2 Desktop Icon and start the game normally from there.
Your game will now start. ;)

PRPrincess631 22-01-2006 21:43

I just wanted to say thank you I know it's a lil delayed sorry :/ I got it to work no problem :) Thanks a bunch!

To encode your cd-key run the update program for v.1.12, pick language and hit next. Next goto start, then run and type %temp%, this will bring up the temp dir. Goto dir with {numbers and letters} then another dir with {numbers and letters} now copy bf******check.exe to your desktop. Now you can close the temp dir and cancel the setup of the update. Now every time you put in new cd-key run bf******check, it doesn't seem to do anything but it will encrypt the key in the reg. :D
