The mini image file for TW06 named dabtw2k6.rar doesn't work.

I know I know lol

It works for some but not for others.. Im trying to work out why..

are you using alcohol or daemon toolz mate?

because im using alcohol...and i cant get it to work.

(i messed my daemon up with antiblaxx)

worked with both

maybe a after unistall of anti blaxx thing? im real puzzled on this.

not sure mate,i installed it..and had it out of my machine faster than i put it in lol (hence why i didnt install teh back up) i didnt like teh look of it,and it wasent well known at the time so i got nervouse using it lol!

anyway like i said in teh other thread my main problem is installing daemon it just comes up cannot unpack installer evertime (no matter how many times i download it) and i dont get this with anything else

Man, you're screwed just like me. I formatted now because of the changes Antiblaxx did to my reg. With those changes, you can't install Daemon Tools 4 O-O. So... I just formatted. Didn't feel like going back and fixing my entire ****ing registtry just to get drivers to install...

o man..im gonna scream like a girl! lol

a little off topic question...is there anyway of backing up installed games so i can just format the drive with windows on then have them all installed again somehow?

and is daemon 4 out now? i cant find it anywhere.

I noticed this securom on TW2006 disables Daemon Tools v3 :P (shows daemon.dll error)

v3 as in v3 or in v3.47?

Anti-Blaxx hides Daemon from view.. So Securom wont screw up the dll.

Daemon 4 aint out. Securom doesnt **** up ure daemon.dll dabhand, I'm pretty sure on that one, since I only got the daemon.dll error after installing Anti-blaxx. All my SC7 games worked well before that. Glenbo, winbl0ze gives you an option to backup installed games. However, being winbl0ze, it blows, so when I did a format, it said "ERROR: WE DONT LIKE j00 SO WE DELETED j00 backup3d PHILEZ"... So I will skip the part where I threw my PC into a neaby lake and stole another to the point
where I am now re-installing all the **** I had. Thank god I was smart enought to Copy my Program Files to another machine...

damn..o well id rather cut my arm off than reformat at the moment,so looks like ill have to wait for daemon toolz :P

What I'm trying to say dude is if you can't install daemon now, you won't be able to install when it comes out. So, in my case format is preferable since I love my mini images, and once Daemon 4 comes out Im gonna see if I can screw around with a Starforce game and produce a valid mini image if I can :)

I meant safedisc, I did say that in a later post.

We're talking about how anti-blaxx can **** up a computer. I know the game is Safedisc, dont worry :)

so did you have that same problem? DONG! 'FATAL ERROR!''cannot unpack installer' as soon as you click the next button when you first double click teh daemon installer? i managed to get 3.46 working now thanks to your help :D

Since you have just done a format, may i suggest you make a ghost image of your system now. It will save you heaps of time and work when you again start playing around with maybe suspect programs. ;)
