NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 2.1.1

Is there crack yet for this wonderful game. It has SafeDisc 4.60.000 protection which I have never seen before...

sunster13 06-10-2005 14:46

I'm looking for it too.

JoeJoeJoe 06-10-2005 15:11

Been trying to find one myself too, but no luck so far... There's been cracks for every single patch for this game and the earlier version of it from what I know, so it's weird that there's still no crack for this patch which has been out for quite a while now.

turdlet 06-10-2005 16:50

same. :/

japajapa 07-10-2005 06:15

Serves you guys right

So wonderful enough to play, but still you want to pirate the game ? These guys are breaking their backs to make a game that you seem to like and still you want to steal from them ?

Answer me this, when they stop making the game one day because people like you are just pirating the game and not buying, will you just move on to pirating another hockey manager game ? And once that is canned, how many are there going to be left ? And how many guys you think will want to put an effort into making a new game if people just keep stealing it ?

Thought so....

I was looking forward to getting this game on my X-Box as they told they could make a conversion, but that got canned specifically because of the piracy situation...so don't tell me that no one loses out if someone pirates the game :(

@japajapa: Which word/sentence from the quoted post made you think that the poster did NOT have the original CD/DVD so that you started this tirade? This forum has gone through this topic many-many times, so don't bother starting it again, okay?

Well...that game can be played the other way around as well. What part of the following post implies that he has the original CD ?

But hey, no problem, my apologies. If the general assumption is that anyone who is looking for a crack has the original version, then you are absolutely right. I just thought that common sense would work so that a person with an original copy of the game would not be needing a crack in the first place...

turdlet 07-10-2005 08:43

how about CD missing, damaged or just looking for convinience. Like already said, this has been discussed to death.

Joe Forster/STA 07-10-2005 08:47

You're making assumptions based on beliefs or incomplete "facts". Don't, you're only making a fool out of yourself. You don't know why people need no-CD patches. (If you wanna get an idea, read through this whole forum and even then you won't see all of them. ;) ) You'd better educate yourself before quick-jumping into conclusions!

japajapa 07-10-2005 09:12

Sorry if I got it wrong...just that no-one even suggested that they were looking for a no-CD patch until your last post Joe. All that was mentioned was a crack to a game I happen to like very much. I even helped out on the research for my local team for the game, so I'm passionate about it. I'll get my coat :)

JoeJoeJoe 07-10-2005 11:56

Crack, patch, no-cd, no-cd patch, no-cd crack, call it whatever you want, the point is that we want it no matter what you wanna call it :)

sunster13 08-10-2005 06:44

let's get back on topic :)

I thought there was a digital download version of this game as well, one where you can buy it online and won't need a CD in the first place ? So for convinience, you could get that.

Sunster, which version do you currently have ?

Joe, just out of interest, have you got any figures (this must have been researched some way or another, somewhere) on what percentage of people using no-cd patches, cracks or whatever you want to call them here, actually own the original game as well ? Just curious about it...

You're a bit rabid about this, don't you think?

I would love to see updated no-cd cracks for this game, and no, I don't currently own it. Presently I am playing the demo and waiting for the North Amercian release to show up at my local EBgames. My reasoning for wanting a crack is:

1) Carrying CDs around to play games on my laptop stinks.

2) Swapping CDs to play games on any computer stinks.

3) SI Games' (or Sega, whomever it is) decision to use Trymedia for their download version is assinine. Trymedia gives the purchaser a few "tokens" which are used up each time the game is installed. Once they're all used up you're SOL. Verisign would have been a much better choice since they allow you to "un-register" your game by transmitting the "token" back to their server.

sunster13 09-10-2005 08:58

I have the try and buy demo, because I can't find it in stores yet.

I sure as hell do not have that. Personally I don't feel like paying for the game once again just to be able to stop using the CD though :)

hockeyboy18 09-10-2005 15:44

I can't find it ether and truely I tried returning my Disc (Cause I brought the European Edition) but I brought it off of Online and they don't return them so Im pretty pissed.

30.00 for this game is a rip off, but it was worth it then.

Im so upset.

JJO 11-10-2005 03:28

Any news?

Joe Forster/STA 11-10-2005 03:32

The news is forum rule #8: don't dump!

Although this is technically not allowed. You should have one CD per ONE PC...

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't get you right the first time. It's OK than and I agree, it's not very practical to carry a box of CDs along with laptop...

Oh, and just an FYI, the developers have stated time and again on their forums that the digital download allows for 5 installs so go ahead and install it on your main PC and your laptop.

Unfortunately its the 5 install limit that keeps me from purchasing the digital download, and hoping the CD version will show up in m y area soon.

Joe Forster/STA 12-10-2005 04:52

I don't think the 5 install limit applies to installing the software 5 times on different PC's at the same time. I'm pretty sure that the EULA will tell you that, besides this limitation, you may not install (and use) the software on several PC's in parallel. Can you check this?

Sorry, but I have no intention of digging through any EULA. However I can link to this thread in the official NHL EHM forums where one of the developers states that yes you may install it on a second computer. I can also link to this FAQ on the Trymedia website that states you may install "NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 (North American Version)" on up to 5 computers that you own. You can browse Trymedia's website as it has seperate FAQs for the different versions of Eastside Hockey.

turdlet 13-10-2005 19:01

You can install it on different computers as long as you have internet for some auth crap but i guess that 5 means truly only 5 installs.

Joe Forster/STA 14-10-2005 03:34

@civbat: Wow, that's nice stuff! I'm truly amazed as most EULA's are not this generous...!

JakeCourtney 17-10-2005 17:20

There still is no crack for NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 patch 2.1.1.

Somebody needs to make a patch for Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 for the 2.1.1 patch.

turdlet 25-10-2005 15:30

I tried to get it working with anti-blaxx and safedisk hider but no worky, however i think i read that quake 4 uses same protection, and that could fool it. So did anyone get it working by using something like those two programs? Or won't they just work at all.

turdlet 27-10-2005 22:40

yep, does indeed o.O

thanks alot.

JJO 28-10-2005 04:54

where can it be found?

capzilla37 28-10-2005 05:38

I would like that as well.:D

snakpak 28-10-2005 18:38

Hi,
can you explain to me how the new crack works? I tried but the game ask for the good CD.

1. Install game
2. Install patch 2.1
3. run sd4hide
4. mount NHL EHM 2005
5. play game

but it doesnt work

Thx

soxman 29-10-2005 01:10

I've found keeping sd4hide open "underneath" EHM 2005 works fine every time.
Also I keep the mini-image mounted via Alcohol permanently.

turdlet 29-10-2005 02:44

i use daemon tools with safedisk emulation on, no need for SD4hide.

gottschlich 30-10-2005 05:59

Where can I find this fix ?

R!ce 31-10-2005 02:35

google nhl ehm 2005 mds

hi, i have the european version, the mds file doesn't work when i update my game to 2.11, is there any solution?

after mounting, only the emulator drive will appear, clicking the game, it still needs cd. i play on my ultra portable laptop, which needs a usb cd drive, can someone help me???

thanks.

Help with Mini Image

okay I cant get this thing to work. I keep getting an error, while running Setup on the mini Image.

" This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package."

I am doing something wrong or am i just not very smart?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I keep getting this same error as well. Thanks in advance.

sunster13 01-11-2005 16:11

I can't get this to work.

Do I just mount with Daemon?

R!ce 01-11-2005 22:16

the mds file is for running the game after installing from CD, its not for installing...

capzilla37 02-11-2005 10:18

I have also tried to use the official 2.1.1 patch after installing the game, then mount this mds file, but it's still not working. It still tells me to insert the correct cd. I'm using daemon tools with safedisc emulation turned on. Any other solutions? Thanks in advance.
