fable...need help :(

i am from germany and I bought fable for PC today...
But i have a problem...if I start the game, comes a window with this messege..

Runtime Error!

can anyone help me plz? :(

You cannot have purchased it today! I am from Germany, too! On German Union day ALL shops are closed . . .

This error could come from installing from a copied CD . . . .

So you should think twice before posting . . . . :D

ähm thats right but I forgot to say, that a friend buy it...and i got it today >.> so why should i think twice ;)

I don't know if it helps, but you COULD try with the crack on gamecopyworld.com.
Else: Rent the game in your videostore; then get the crack. that's how I've done it... :D

I had same problem.Try update Audigy drivers, if you have SB Audigy card, this game don't run with some old drivers.Read readme.rtf.

I think, I have a nvidia soundcard...I doesn't really know that :D

should I update my driver too?

Strange, never seen an nvidia soundcard...
i guess he means nforce onboard soundchip ? Updating drivers is always good, if there are newer ones ;)

you're right - seems to be a problem with creative (especially audigy) soundcards

the nforce driver isn't working :( I have loaded a new nforce AMD driver, but now doesn't my audigy working :(

Nforce AMD driver isnt for the soundcard etc..

Goto nvidia.com and get the latest nforce drivers from there.

now i tried some drivers, but without positiv results :( damn :(

i have Athlon 1700+, GF MX4000 and 512 RAM
do you think this is because of my weak graphic card
is it possible to play Fable on my pc ??

Didnt you read the minimum Specs for the game..

and abotu original game - no comment :P

Integrated and el cheapo video cards are not recommended for games, especially hardware-intensive ones (very nice graphics, large landscapes, lots of objects etc.) The Geforce MX cards belong to the el cheapo category; you won't be able to play lots of games with them.
