MotoGP 3 image file won't run, NOW RUNNING

I have used the mini image on gamecopyworld with the virtual cd hide activated but when I go to run the game I get this message

"A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."

This also happened to me when I first installed the game and tried to play it with the original cd as well, I got the same message. I didn't know what caused it but suspected it may have had something to do with using virtual drives or something to get around the securom 7 protection so I disabled my virtual drives and deleted some programs and then reinstalled the game to my C: drive. (the first couple of times I installed to my H: drive and this time it worked, so I've been playing with the original whilst waiting for a crack.
Well today it came out :D and I used the (image file) and now I'm back to getting that message.
Does anyone have any idea why I keep getting this message or if you have some ideas to try I would really appreciate it, my original won't last long with my kids.
thanx 4 any help in advance.

***********IT'S WORKING NOW********************

Well people, I'm happy to say I've got it running now with a working backup disc which works on the only two drives I have at the moment.

A Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-1693S (which I wrote disc with)
LG CD-RW CED-8080B

The only problem is that at the moment I have to use the backup disc to play the game, it's the only way I can beat the CD check. I know it's a pain in the arse having to use a disc at all but at least it won't ruin your original.

With the method use below (twinpeaks method) it worked on my machine first time up but I had to do a few things to get it working on my other machine.
Using a combination of a couple of ideas from the replies I got to this post I got it to work on my other machine.

Firstly creating backup with twinpeaks method mentioned (you may want to experiment with reading and writing speeds with this method but it definately works).

Secondly, if you've used the mini image posted on GCW with virtual hide CD then you have to make sure that the CD path in the Registry is showing your optical drive and not your daemon tools virtual drive.

Lastly, you have to change the motogp.exe files (in game directory) compatibility to Windows 2000.
As I have said, On the machine I burnt copy with it worked straight away but you may have to use the second method to get it working on another machine. Unless maybe you burn another copy (using twinpeaks) on the second machine then the copy may work perfectly like on the other machine.
Anyway like I said it won't help the lazy person in us all but at least you won't damage your original.

I'd like to thank everyone that replied to this post, it helped to read all the ideas and Philamber at cdfreaks forum for the securom 7 twinpeaks method below.

Use this address to link to the Securom 7 Twinpeaks method mentioned above.

I didn't use that Fixed Image, so I can't help you with your problem, but I would really like to know why there's still no NO-CD-CRACK for that game!?
I had created an Image of the CD some days ago using "GameJack 5 (5.0.3.6)", but when I put this Image into a Virtual Drive, the game told me "Emulation software found!"

I think it's similar to the "Emulation-programm found. Game will not start."-message.

Well it's not exactly the same: "a required security module..." appears when you have hidden virtual drives.

The solution is rather easy.
Just right click the motogp.exe file and set it to run in compatibility mode: windows 2000.
Then use virtualcdhide and mount the image as before. ;)
Don't forget to close Anydvd if it's running.

I did everything you said but when i run the motogp.exe file it says "original disc canīt be found or authentified"
Can you please help me?

halfluke 10-09-2005 07:24

well, I receive that kind of message if I forget to mount the image.
Otherwise, it could mean that your mds+mdf are not good.

Well i got the mds-mdf in GameCopyWorld...
I tried it all again but it still wants the original cd.
Could it be a problem with Daemon?
I donīt know what could it be!

Did you try re-installing daemon tools and re-mounting the image?

Yes. My Daemon works fine with other games mini-images.
Could it be a problem with the GameCopyWorld mini-image?

ocukscooby 10-09-2005 10:00

Got exactly the same problem, getting the message

"A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."

Tried setting the compat mode to windows2000 but still get the same message.

*************

Now got past this problem, i removed antiblaxx and it sorted out this message, only problem now is I get the message
"Orginal disk could not be found or authenticated"

henry 10-09-2005 13:42

This is what I did to get the mini image from GCW to work, rename it to the same volume name as the copy(of original)/original image etc you installed with. ie MotoGPURT3.mds/mdf

Run Anti-Blax with settings as per image below.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...xxsettings.jpg

You may need the special 'patched' Anti-Blax due to blacklisting.

I have this if needed, but it's too big to upload here(204Kb).

watz1 10-09-2005 14:20

We have the same problem here...."A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."
Two PC`s - and the same message, even if we do everythink, what henry and halfluke sad .... I think we better wait for a cracked exe or a better image ......

Thanks

henry 10-09-2005 16:03

Try the patched Anti-Blax.exe, just overwrite the original in the installed folder.

rar pass = fileforums

Hope this isn't against the rules BTW.

mick 14 10-09-2005 18:21

andremaul 10-09-2005 19:52

hey... i can't make this work... i hide the virtual drives, emulate the mini-image that is disponible at GCW and put the game in compatibility mode win 2000... but it says something like this "the disk can't be authentified or found"... i've tried to install antiblaxx, but it also doesn't works and even fu*** my daemon tools 2 times... could you help me?

weston 11-09-2005 00:29

I've searched GCW about twenty times but can't find this mini-image or anything for MGP3! Where is it? Please help....

MontyBurns1985 11-09-2005 01:22

MotoGP 3 - Ultimate Racing Technology

The Fixed Image of the game can be found here:

http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/?d=2005&f=MotoGP3_MI!rar

But I'll wait until a NO-CD-CRACK for that game comes out, hopefully soon!

weston 11-09-2005 01:38

Cheers Monty you're a gent! (But I don't know why my own searches come up with nothing!) I'm going to try it now.

raven_g20 11-09-2005 01:50

hello people...got the same problem..tried everyting even mounting with alcohol...but unlike u i dont get a error or anything...when i run the game it just hangs my pc...just freezes in desktop and i have to reset...u think i have another problem? thnx

henry 11-09-2005 02:23

OK did you rename the GCW image to the same volume name as your installed version?
Run Anti-Blax(use the patched exe I posted), right click on the tray icon and at the top you'll see 'Run game'.
MotoGP3 should be showing as this is the game you entered in the screen shot I posted...yes!!.

The 'MotoGP URT 3 Launcher' should pop up, now click on 'Run Game'.

BTW I mounted the GCW image in an Alcohol virtual CD/DVD drive.

Additional: I have both my DVD burner and CD burner in external USB 2 caddies.
This won't really help this situation, just thought I'd mention it.

weston 11-09-2005 02:55

Hi Henry- followed all instructions- still tells me about a security device! Any more details that could make a difference? Thanks...

ma1kl 11-09-2005 06:30

it works

i have installed the game from alcohol with a image from emule. then i hide all virtual drives with virtualcdhide. then i mount the image (install-image) not the mini-image. and it works :)

mick 14 11-09-2005 16:02

dont use antiblank it just fu**** up daemon tools just make a full image it works

andremaul 11-09-2005 16:20

guys, i tried everything you said here, but i just can't make it work! it continues to show the message "the original disk can't be found/authentified!"

help me plz

Ceto 11-09-2005 18:21

Solution

If the game asks for CD on every start of an race, open your registry and go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3", then doubleklick CDPath, enter now the letter of your virtual drive where you have mounted your image.

Use Virtual CD Hide instead of that crap Antiblaxx

You should select "hide registry entries", not "erase registry entries" which just screws up your Daemon, hiding them does NOT do this !
BTW: Mounting a mini image or mounting a full image doesnt make a difference for games that are looking for virtual drives (they look for the registry entries of Alcohol or Daemon, not for images in the drive) ;)

andremaul 12-09-2005 08:45

yeah I can't get this game to run neither, how do I make my own image?

TippeX 12-09-2005 12:18

does it work with your original disk?

f575gtc 12-09-2005 12:36

yes but the game is my brother's and he wants the cd so I need to get it to run without a cd on my pc.

i get to the point where it says cd can not be authenticated

TippeX 12-09-2005 12:49

sounds like a bad image then, also dont wanna sound like im preaching but you'll find (/me waits for grumpy) that playing a backup and giving ur brother the original is a breach of the eula.. which is illegal

the cannot authenticate disk is definately a bad image, did you make it properly? with rmps etc on like some people detailed earlier

Mikey@London 12-09-2005 13:19

Had all of the above problems this will work 100%.
Uninstall motogp3
Mount CD image (not the mini image) with Alcohol120 trial 195 3105
Install motogp3 with the mounted CD image.
Install Anti-Blaxx v1.16 ,Copy & paste the HAANDI exe to the Anti-Blaxx C:program folder.
Start Anti-Blaxx, right click the Anti-Blaxx tool bar icon, choose settings, in general settings Browse to C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\Alcohol.exe, tick restore:after the game exits & tick method:delete entrys more dangerous, choose first game. in moto gp3 settings, protection:securom 7, game: Browse to C:\Program Files\THQ\MotoGP URT 3\motogp.exe, type game name, tick mount image, tick use alcohol 120%, device:0, image: Browse to Your moto gp3 image file.
click on close.
Right click the Anti-Blaxx tool bar icon & choose run game.
On yer bike!!!! at last

f575gtc 12-09-2005 14:56

how is it illegal? , its his game, we live in the same house, he's one room over.

he installed it on my pc and took the cd, i didnt even make a backup copy.

oh and btw

http://img354.imageshack.us/img354/8551/566qa.jpg

I got it running

DABhand 12-09-2005 15:23

Its illegal because when he installed the game, it states one copy per 1 machine.

For you to play also, you must purchase your own copy.

Its silly I know, but thats the law.

f575gtc 12-09-2005 17:05

what if you buy a copy and want it on your desktop and laptop, they are both your computers.

TippeX 12-09-2005 23:43

you still need one copy per machine, really u cant split hairs about it, its the law, thats how it works... doesnt matter if u got 10 machines, at best you're only legally allowed to run it on one of them at any one time

If you're using the original to run it on desktop/notebook(as intended), you can only run it on one machine at a time anyway.

It's the same as using a music CD in the car, or in the home music system etc.
