Boiling Point 2.0 no-cd
 

Now that it has been 2 weeks I wanted too ask if there will be a no-cd crack coming out for Boiling Point 2.0.

I'm also waiting for it.
My DVD-Rom has problems with the original disk and the no-cd paches fixed the issues for me.

I made this full image and replaced all of the files with dummies.

mount it with alcohol 120% and use anti-blaxx if the game detects the virtual drive.

Does your image work for you with A120% and Anti-Blaxx??

yeah it works fine. btw the game is European version.

Yes, I can confirm that it does indeed work. Thx for your troubles. I used it on BP v2.0 using A120% w/o using Anti-Blaxx.

it seems boiling point without patch needs anti-blaxx but after installing the patch 2.0, you don't need anti-blaxx anymore! :confused:

you can also make your own image and replace the *.mds (assumed you are using alcohol) file with one from www.copybase.ch

I get that message after mounting it in Alcohol and using anti-blaxx. Any ideas why? I installed using the reloaded dvd image.

What A120% version are you using? I used v1.95.3802.

My bet is that your problem is due to using a warezed version. Reloaded dvd image, that does not sound like an original DVD to me.
Use original or if you do not have it, go buy the game instead.

I just found out that if you put the 1.0 crack (it might work with 1.1 too) and then install the patch it won't detect a cd image or copy as an invalid copy but you will have too play with the image mounted or the copy in the drive. (it is an actual patched version since after you patch it the exe is the same size as the exe is when you patch it normally.)

Bumping a thread - which is, by the way, against the forum rules - won't give you a no-CD patch earlier as no professional cracker visits this forum anyway!

The way I described works and is fully updated too 2.0 so you don't need a 2.0 no-dvd crack.

After the update to 2.0 I try the 1.1 nocd-patch and it works !

You have too put the crack in then update it and it will work and still be updated. The xenus.exe is patched instead of being replaced but but doesn't change the parts needed too use a backup or image.

Just got your selfmade mini image:
It actually works but:
it is 2.5 gb big :confused:
so isn't it possible to make it smaller ?!
i wanted to make a backup of the game with the patch and the mini mage on it but it won't fit cus this will be 6gig on dvd :eek:

Can you tell me what programs and steps you used to create that mini-image for BP? I tried to create an image too before but it didn't work. I used the NEC ND-3520A DVD rewriter and A120% v1.9.5.2802 with High DPM and slow ripping/burning.

And how did you replace the files with dummies?

Why don't you put the RARed image on your backup disk? it's only 1MB.

I used Pioneer DVR-107 and Alcohol 120% v1.9.5.3105 with High DPM and slow ripping and for replacing the files with dummies, I used Winhex to fill the data area of image with zeros. ;)

BTW it's a FULL image not a mini-image!

just for infos, the gamme work not bether with update 2.0 and original DVD or mini image as with crack from previous update, so use the update and the old 1.1 crack, you need nothing more, the update is not a final update, many things in this "retail game" must be updated before they is a final proper product.atemp next update before can play without lags :cool: :D have fun by testing this new art of beta game "retail" :D byyye..............

When will there be a no-CD file for v 2.0? or will there not be one?

ive basicaly installed path 2 and using 1.1 no-cd and i cant see any improvments in the game i think its because im not using 2.0 no-cd but wouldnt the 1.1 fixes work as im using the 1.1 no-cd

I used the mini image and had the same thoughts. Didnt recognize anything changed alot ?! There still were voices missing or old ladys talking like a male :confused:
Im still waiting for some more patches like 3.0 or 4.0 and then, just THEN i will play it
