No-cd Gta:SA v1.01
 

Has anyone already made a no-cd for gta san andreas v1.01? i'm desperatly looking for it, and i can't find it anywhere ....

no, i hate playing games in french :) . at first, i had a french cj, but it's just too stupid :D . so i re-installed and now i'm playing in english. and it's good for my english too - actually that's the main reason i play in english .... :cool: .

the main reason i actually need this patch, is because i got a laptop. and i can play with my dvd, but my dvd drive is not that fast, and it stops "turning" if you don't do anything in the game for like 1 minute. and if you start moving again, the game's shaking because the dvd-player is starting up again. i tried to disable that "power-saving" option, but it's impossible on my laptop (got an acer aspire 1511LMi). and i had to do the update to version 1.01, cuz for example keypad nr 5 works fine now, and doesn't in version 1.00 ... ;)

WOW u got a laptop with keypad???? didn't know such a thing exists!!!

it's not standard, but i do :) . btw: all 17" laptops have a keypad ... ;) . mine is 15", but i have an external keypad ... i'm studying for engineer, and i have to enter a lot of numbers, and with a laptop keyboard without keypad, it's a horrible job :D ...

would be nice.
have a look at sony's notebooks and you see how the space of an 17" case could be wasted...

The patch has been out for a while now. Is there going to be a v 1.1 no-CD crack for it? Is it even necessary? I'm tired of playing with this crappy audio bug, but I don't feel like upgrading without a no-DVD file.

I haven't upgraded yet either for the same reason.

I'm glad I finished the game with v1.0 ;)

I think I'd play it again start to finish once a solution for v1.01 comes out.

Hi, is there any news? Many months have passed since the release of the patch, but no news about an updated crack...

If this happens that means that no one cares to make a crack, so you might as well stop waiting.

I wouldn't mind a noDVD for this..
Or at least a working mini-image file.
Such a popular game as this and it's never appeared.

its because the patch doesent really fix anything,same as previous gta patchs in previous games,they are more optional updates than critical update patch...and to be honest,unless someone is a sick perv who likes to see video game shagging,there isent really a issue.

The news DVD of the game are 1.01 versions !

I'm looking for the 1.01 crack as my DVD drive is now broken :(. And i need 1.01 because it fixes some important issues that i have.
Now news?

- Issue on all machines where certain collisions caused parts of the audio system to crash (sound effects, cutscene audio - only radio keeps going) - users know this as "Rain / Thunderstorm bug".
- Numpad 5 is available

Unfortunately no crack's been released yet (and the patch is out since august '05).

The 1.01 patch should be considered as a major one, though many people think the opposite (misinformation by videogame webzines?).

Yeah i have read many posts saying that they don't want to update because they want to keep the nudity scenes. But anyway, personally i'm not really excited about a virtual sex scene... and i'd like to have the bugs fixed. I had 1.01, then my DVD broke so i reinstalled 1.0 with no dvd.
