Worms 4 Mayhem

Hi I'm searching for a crack or mini image for worms 4 mayhem?
I couldn't find one at gamecopyworld and some other sites and e-mule!?
could you please send me the file(s) or the link to download them!

DABhand 16-08-2005 08:18

Your original giving you problems?

caki 16-08-2005 09:29

Worms 4: Mayhem Starforce 3.5.05.03

And I think that protect.dll is somewhere around 16-17 mb, so I wouldnt wait for a nocd at all.

MontyBurns1985 16-08-2005 13:06

With "StarForce 3.50.XXX.XXX" waiting for a crack is hopeless! Same **** as with "Codename Panzers - Phase Two". For that game also exists no crack or image or anything like that. "StarForce 3" sucks!

Different Starforce Version

Hi there.

I did not compare the Starforce Versions of Worms 4 - Mayhem and Panzers Phase Two.

But they MUST differ, because both of them are on DVD - but Panzers Phase Two can still be cheated with the USB-Trick (tried it myself and it works, used SFN as IDE-Drive-Disabler).
But Worms Mayhems´ Starforce seems to detect the tricks used by SFN/Star*ucker because even the original disc asks to be insert in an other drive (2 optical @ raid, 1 optical @ usb, 1 optical @ ide - deactivated by sfn).

Maybe someone could test if the usb-trick still works with unplugged ide-drives or maybe sata-drives. (toooooooo lazy for that / no sata-optical available present here)

The Usb-trick still works with Worms 4 Mayhem, but you first have to remove the power-cable of your internal dvd-drives. With Star**** you cant hide your internal IDE-drives anymore, but you should still use it to disable node. Hope this information helps some of you.

Ultra2k 18-08-2005 13:14

Also ich hab schon mal die protect.dll von der demo genommen und es ist
nichts passiert coppyschutz is immer noch da.
die abfrage für starforce is die launcher.exe.
habe die launcher.exe von der multiplayerdemo in die full kopiert und hatte dann die fullversion als demo lolll.

gruss Ultra2k !! :) :)

Translation by MOD:
I have copied the PROTECT.DLL from the Demo, but the copy protection is still there.
The Protection is in the LAUNCHER.EXE, so i tried the LAUNCHER.EXE from the MultiPlayerDEMO.
Now i have changed my full game to a DEMO. lol

Thanks
greets JJ

ByteMare 19-08-2005 04:53

Getting the demo files won't help, SF is still there and why turning a full game to demo??

The full version launcher.exe file is 4kb's bigger than the demo file.
And I scanned the files in the worms 4 mayhem directory...
Protect.dll and WORMS 4 MAYHEM.exe are starforce protected.
If you press WORMS 4 MAYHEM.exe,it will redirect to the protection scanner.
I guess this means you will have to remove every entry redirecting you to the protect.exe file.
And I think, even if you have the game running,it will have some checks...
I'm just thinking here.

Sorry 4 bumping...

Just adding: Yes, can confirm that Worms 4 Mayhem works with the USb-Method as long as no optical drives are @ primary or secondary onboard ide available (unplugged!).

Disabling something with any of the software-"unplug"-tools is not needed. But Daemon/Alcohol with active RMPS-Emulation are still required!

Thx 4 ur attention.

would using a virtual operating system on your coputer, like microsoft virtual pc 2004 and some how not telling it thier is a drive, make it work so i don't have to open it. this is just an idea, that has probobly been already tested, i was wondering if it works?

[UFP]GhostBuster 26-08-2005 05:42

BUMP, is anyone gonna answer this?

DABhand 26-08-2005 06:09

Yeah I will...

Dont bump :P

Joe Forster/STA 26-08-2005 06:37

Don't bump, read forum rule #8!

The emulation of a system is several magnitudes slower than the original, unemulated system; or you need a several magnitudes faster computer to emulate the original system at 100% speed. Therefore, running (recent) games in any kind of emulator is pointless as it will only be a slow slide show...

DABhand 26-08-2005 07:07

Yep correct, and if the Virtual PC is read from CD then even slower speeds.

[UFP]GhostBuster 26-08-2005 11:34

sorry for bumping so this means that, that works right? (just making sure i get that because all that was really mentioned was speed but no actual answer, like saying, yes it does, that i saw).

No, what they mean is: The protection MAY be cheated (got this idea on my own some time ago, but never testet it coz the gcw crew says it makes no sense... ;-D) and the game MAY start, but the overall performance of the emulated maschine is so weak, that the game won´t run fast (if it will run at all.)

Well, have a look at the emulated hardware by those vmware-like systems. As far as I know, the operating system of the emulated machine detects only a s3-virge like card - enough for some office hacking... But for games? No way...

Note: My experiences of VmWare and this kind of software are months/years old. Do they "emulate" "newer" hardware right now? E.g. Geforce-Card instead of this old 2D-Office-Cards? And remember: VmWare isn´t that cheap at all...

Bah! Bad english.

It doesn't work on Worms 4. I've tried every trick in the book. If you have to play Worms 4, use the original DVD. It's just too much of a pain in the ass to try anything else with Starforce nowadays, no tricks work, the Protect file is absolute gibberish, I'm ready to give up on it.

"supeer gra" means "I don't care about the forum rules and I bump like hell because I like to do so and I'd really like to get banned as soon as possible" in some the language of Betelgeuse VII.

Is it anyone that ever gotten this game to work with any sfcure stuff?
Last time I tried I got it to load to menu, but when try to start a game it just came to the next screen (clods and water) and nothing more happened. Just like the so called no-cd does..

But it got past the forst bit of protection.
Don't know it if was just a strange luck or anything..

!HaGaR! 05-11-2005 11:59

Works....

Both methods are working with worms mayhem.
a.) usb-trick (rmps-burned image with perfect dpm-dump)
b.) sfcure-method with d-tools mounted image with perfect dpm-dump.

Coz´ the "unplug"-trick of starforce-nightmare will be detected by this starforce-version you have to manually/hardware-unplug your internal optical drives! (maybe in the near future you doesn´t need to, because dtools 4 is about to appear the next 2 weeks...)

n8

ps.... just use the search, anything has been discussed and guided multiple times...

Dustpuppy 05-11-2005 12:05

Well, I have done research....

It was more that I got the game to start but not to go further than the menu.

Well, I didn't unplug my dvd...
And the weird thing is that the time I got it to go to menu I didn't even use the standard IDE drivers...

Oh well.. gonna try abit more or just give up using the image.

thanks for your reply.
