GTA: SA v1.0 mini-image (this is not a v1.01 thread ;) )
 

Anybody out there able to get the GTA: SA mini-image by Hekkis working?

I am using the latest Daemon Tools and it keeps asking for the DVD.

Is it because I have the DVD edition? IS there a CD edition?

Up until now, I have been using the cracked .exe, but I hate using those...it's such a pain to patch.

I would say there is not a CD version simply because no-one has requested how to put the CD's to DVD. But really that is just a guess, I dont know for sure? But you know how it is, something gets released and the questions usually come rolling in straight away. ;)

GTA:SA is protected with Securom7.
Mini-Images don't work with Securom. Or do i err?

Hmm..then why is there a mini-image on GameCopyWorld if it doesn't work?

Ah well...that totally answers my question :D

Hmmm... reminds me a little bit of the Mini-Image for Earth 2160 which didn't have any copy protection :D
There was simply no use for it, so why uploading such a file to GCW ? :confused:

EMPiRE has neighter the time nor the games to test everything what is send to GameCopyWorld!

Oops..I should have been a little more thoughtful...

I guess my rhetorical question should have been:
'Why would somebody upload a mini-image that doesn't work?'

Perhaps only to get a "Thanx" from EMPiRE. (see News of GCW, behind each new entry a "Thanx").

That may be fine for the one who did the Mini Image but why a thanx if it is useless for everybody ??? :confused:
Did anyone ever mention that Earth2160 hasn't got a copy protection ? I'm not personally in contact with EMPiRE but someone could tell him about it ?!

yeah i tried the mini image with latest daemon and latest alcohol 120. all emulation on.

doesn't work.

i also tried with anti-blaxx on but still not working.

There's no need for telling it to EMPiRE, because everyone who is downloading a crack/mini image for a non-protected game is ...... [NO COMMENT] !!!

What´s the difference between .mir and .iso? Data storage system or...?

An ISO-Image only contains files. NO DATA FOR THE PROTECTION !!!
