I would like to ask if someone would have the patience to build a no-cd for the game Nexus - The Jupiter Incident version 1.01.

I never resumed playing this cool game after updating it...

Yeah, there never was a fixx for v1.01....

And this was like 8 or more month ago ... ?

I just hope I could get the no-cd before I finished the game :)

It's kind of passive for a game but it's marvellously well done, from my point of view (except for the bugs). More games like that should exist.

That's why I bother asking for a no-cd v1.01 even if it's a 8 month old game.

You never needed a new crack, the v1.0 crack still works for v1.01. There was no change in the .exe ;)

THE exe may not be the exe, it sounds cryptic but hey hum :P

Either way the crack for it is on the site.

After patching, the .exe was different from the earlier version. (In size)

That's why i've ask for a 1.01 no-cd, if nothing was changed, why the file's bigger?

Ok this is bugging me now lol, I remember getting it, it was released a week or so ago, it made me install the game to replay it with the patch.

Now its gone O_o

Fortunately I found it on my comp, so ill send it to them :)

Was wondering if you might send me the file also, I hate having to have discs in my drive, especially when I want to switch games i'm playing.

Anyway, thanks for atleast letting people know that the crack does exist.

When i remember right, EMPiRE is on Holidays. So it will take a while until it will appear on GCW.

The nocd crack for NEXUS 1.2 has been out for ages. do a search dudes, ur find it, i find it funny how alot rely on GCW to bring the cracks. There are other good cracker sites out there u knw.
Also it is possible not even use the crack 4 v 1.2 as earlyier nocd crack works with the latest ver

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, isnt beyond 1.01 in patches.

Nextly using a v1 no-cd with a later patch will revert the game back to v1 and not the patched up v1.01.

True, but why a no-cd for that? a No-cd will disallow the game onto the servers to be used on MP.

use gamejack's gamestarter, works fine with 1.01 exe.

This is OLD patch for Nexus 1.0 (internal version 1.0.0.1)!!! That version of the game used "SafeDisk (TM) 3.20.22" copy protection.

NEW one uses "SafeDisk (TM) 4.00.01"!

Use GameJack's (version 5.0.3.3) "Game Starter" function to play NEXUS 1.01 without any problem!!!

Came up as 1.01 on the game.

The version shows up in the launcher, which is just nexus.exe But the game, and the cracked files are nexus_dx9.exe and nexus_dx8.exe. So the version will show as 1.01 regardless of whether or not you have the proper crack. It threw me for a loop too at first.

So what do I have to do actually to play? I've downloaded the patch, installed it and yet the error comes out saying that I've not put in the right CD. So i copy and paste the cracks, 8 and 9 right? And then the error comes out, so there's another set of cracks on the CD, i copy and paste that and this time it says no correct CD...so???

Just tried Gamejack and it allows nexus to run before and after patch. My DVD drive has hella problems with the Nexus CD for some reason so glad this works. Gamejack is similar to alchohol it i think but seems to work much better when it comes to emulating protection. I hate having to use cracks on games i own so Gamejack looks like the way to go.

Could it be possible to post a link to the official site of the software gamejack?
Or a way to obtain it?

I've search on google and it was talking about a card game or others sites were in german :(

Googling Gamejack gives me the website for the program at the top of the list not to mention numerous other sites offering the free trial version of it, not sure what you were doing.
I think they have a 15 or 30 day free trial of thier software available for dl on thier site.

Thank you very much! I did a search on nearly every single site I could think of and this was nowhere to be found. As far as the other info here concerning the version number. This patch and crack fixed an error I was having that said that ship_m51_cityship couldnt find a suitable device for shld_v_cl12 ... so either way if it is the right patch or crack or isnt.. Im happy cuz I can now finish the game.

Hi, I know that this is a rather old thread, but:

1. The "alleged" 1.01 crack files are similar with the ones in 1.0 crack. Thus they revert the game to 1.0 version.

2. Game runs fine on my desktop computer but not on my laptop (infamous 855GM card). Patch 1.01 supposed to support non-HW_TL boards.

3. I'm away from home from several months - need 1.01 patch for laptop - CD's back home. Need No-CD crack, not to mess with GameJack (I did not tested it, but I will ultimately).

Any updates on this, or i'm kicking a dead horse? Thanks.
