Freedom Force vs 3rd Reich (European Edition) - any no-cd/fixed exe?
 

I have the European(UK) edition of FF vs 3rd Reich, and the fixed exe available on the website doesn't work with this version (different copy protection).

Does anyone know of a no-cd/fixed exe for this edition, or if one is to be released soon?

This copy protection is simply horrible, it takes a while to authenticate the cd, it keeps the cd spinning non-stop for some reason, it delays the loading of levels to check the cd, ...

It works fine for my version (English with German subtitles)... :D

the german version is protected by starforce which decrypts an 800mb file (see nfo of silentgate)

I've got the german version...the crack is about 2.5 mb big and it WORKS...so what's the deal? i bet that there is a crack for the german version that is NOT 800 mb big...
btw: maybe the naps of silentgate just hit the wrong key on their keyboard, it could be possible... ;) 800 mb of encrypted files are not that realistic, eh?
For me a crack of 2.5 mb works with the german version (english + german subtitles, the only "german version" you can get, there is no one with german sound and voices) :rolleyes:

Certain Starforce games require the whole CD to authenticate, which would be 800mb with outside edges

it's just we're talking about the NoCD not about the size of the cd or the size of the sectors StarForce will check during CD-autentification...
we talk about the size of the files which have to be overwritten to play the game without CD. For my version it works with one of a size of ~2.5 mb...
if it was 800mb i wouldn't even have downloaded it with ISDN, impossible ^^ :mad: probably in the install dir of the game (didn't check this, i've uninstalled it yet) there ain't no single file with a size of 800 mb....isn't there one on GCW? If not i could upload it...but indeed it's strange :confused:

But packed with Winrar it may be 120mb or even less.

What i wanted to know is, why there really is such a big noCD even if there is a 5 mb small one...it doesn't make a sense....
one more time: have you seen/used/downloaded this file and does it work cause i think it's a fake ;)

That the 800MB Starforce file can be deleted and that the 2MB crack should work but muJi.fiGHt3r doesnt want to share it with us...

2mb crack would not work because the 800mb resource file is also crypted by starforce and an starforce removed exe is not able to decrypt starforce ;)

Did you read the posts? As Alban said the crack doesn't use the 800 mb files which are the files starforce needs to identificate the original CD...
so the 2mb crack works (it did for me) ;)

why do you think that? it works well with my german "Freedom Force" so can't say anything bad about it... :rolleyes:

Freedom Force VS 3R Eur
 

1) Install your copy of Freedom Force
2)Copy "Lang" folder from install directory to temp folder
3)Uninstall FFVS3R
4)Download FFVS3R VengeancE Edition ( from BitTorrent for example ) , and install.
5)Replace the original "Lang" folder with your copy
6) Play! NOCD it is included in FFVS3R VengeancE Edition or download from GMW.

Recommending the download of a warezed copy of a game (see step 4 in your guide) is not a bright idea on this forum, as warez-related talk is against the forum rules.

Why don't you just use the crack for the EU version? :confused:

You do know this thread is about the European edition, and the one you mentioned is for the US edition, which doesn't work on the European edition? :rolleyes:

This is what is written on GameCopyWorld about the FFV3R-crack.

I don't have the game, so i don't know that the US crack don't work with the european version of the game. Also it was labeled as english, so it was possible that it mean UK not US.

I am aware of the fact that there is a Fixed Exe at the download section, I downloaded it but it does not seem to work, thats why im asking muJi.fiGHt3r (Or anyone else for that matter) who seems to have a crack that works =)

Does anyone know where a working crack for the Euro version of this game might be?

If you dont have the game proper (CD key will be with the game)
