Boiling Point working with Alcohol

I made a working Backup of "Boiling Point - Road To Hell" with Alcohol (newest Version). Securom 7.

Well guess some people is gonna be interested in which DVD-reader you used and settings in alcohol, read speed and so on...

Nice done btw... Not that I've tried it myself (not the game and thus not backing it up).

Creating Working Image
 

Well, really simple.
Use latest alcohol release... .x.x.2802 i guess.

Slam the DVD in your drive, select dpm-dump, quality: high.
Mount the image with daemon tools or alcohol - rmps emulation option enabled.
If the game detects emulation-software (and it will detect it ;-D),
use "anti blaxx v1.15" or the already known registry-hacks/driver-rename-workarounds to cheat the emulation-detection.
i used the anti blaxx tool.
game runs fine then.

Edit: Seems that the image-creation must be done on a starforce-clean-system. Tried the same mentioned above with installed starforce drivers (multi-os-system). Resulting .mds files differ -> game won´t run!

confirmed..it does indeed work,although i received two crc errors on installation..probably because i rushed the image..still installed and played ok.
Gonna retry it slower now

thanx for the info, anyone knows where I can get it? It's really really really frustrating to buy a game I was so looking forward to, to find out my dvd player isn't up to it.

Dummy ! It's Impossible to make a mini-Image from Securom Protected Games.

Mini Images are ONLY for Starforce and Safedisk.

the nocd exe from reloaded crashes each time i try to start a new game i mean i can load the game set the option and all but ounce i set my difficulty level and click start the loading bar comes up and then the game crashes about one third of the loading

Works fine for me with original game and no-dvd by Reloaded.

yeah i think i found the problem it might have something to do with my ati or its driver

you can play with the created alcohol image mounted on daemon tools with the help of SFN cdrom disabler.

ok my problem is solved here is what was wrong
the crack does not work if you choose french during the installation you have to choose english

Crack working fine, i have the original Game, it have the same xenux.exe error, so its the Game, not the Crack.

and you installed it in english oh well i guess the that simply reinstalling the game may solve the error but i havent tryed reinstalling the game in french anyway this game is full of bug just by looking at the amount of sound problem the game as it will be interresting to see the size of the first patch

The bugs in this game are quite numerous, although they don't ruin the gaming experience completely.

Main point of argue, REALLY high specs needed. I need to add 512mb of RAM (at least 1GB needed for DECENT gameplay)...

Runs fine for me, in process of a trainer for it too. So no hold ups between scanning memory etc.

just tought i would let you know by chaging the following in the GAME.ini file i gain a small boost in performance

CacheMemory=10

change to this

CacheMemory=64

you will find it almost at the end of the ini file

does everyone else have the sound problems when you speak to the npc's ? ie you can't hear them

There is a known bug about the sound being cut-off in some dialogs.

I have just 512mb of ram, so I'll be sure to get myself another 512 pretty soon.

:eek: Hi friends, this game is great crap overloadet with bugs, if you play with original or cracked it's not playable the game graphik short blockings and sound probs so i play 5 minutes and quit because its to shiot to play with an hacked display and sound.My configuration permit me to play some good gamez without some probs H.L.2 or other recent games but here is crap.

It may have some bugs, but saying its crap is totally stupid.

It's the first game of a new developing company, and it is quite great for a first try. It has an almost endless landscape, quite nice plot, every action decides how the story moves on, you can do almost anything...

And it includes some quite new things which haven't been seen in any game before. That is, drinking will effect the way you walk and drive (but is totally necessary in order to get to talk to some characters), you can get addicted to alcohol or drugs, you lose health if you are tired and many more...

The fact that you can't play the game quite well doesn't make it crap. I like the game a lot, no matter the lag or bugs, and I respect the developers' work.

I don't have the money for another 1.5gigs of ram, so I'll just get the 512 now, and we'll see how it goes from there. (Summer is coming, I hope that I'll have some relatives coming over... lol)

Allright, you respect the manufacterer we sale unacheved crap, and i support the cracker we have make a excellent crack, is unacceptable that many poeple say the crack isn't ok. with and multiple bugged game! :eek:

I get that Exception error one of a sudden :S majority of my savegames don't work anymore. Before everything worked fine but now it seems after a certain time deadline all further savegames become corrupt. :S

Downloaded and installed...the old no-cd works with it although I you never know for sure. The problem continues. Í'm now stuck at the place where he has to go to an abandoned factory. Can someone who pases the game first with only the main quest done plz post their savegame somewhere? :)

Some gamez work fine after update 1.1, with 1.0 cracks but not each, in some updates the modifications are effectued on the EXE file & you need a updated crack to benefit the updated things. its simple use your update with original CD or image without a crack & look if the game work bether. :D

Jedo you have the american version cause i have the european and the patch is not out yet for it is there another way apart from nocds?

I think people should at least give some respect to the developers. It's like their first or second game, they did a huge amount of work to create such a vast game with a list of features that could take me two nights to write, and people are complaining about the bugs from the first day.

Yes, there are bugs, but the game itself (at least in my opinion) has made me worry very little about them. Check out the FAQ and you should be able to avoid most of them until they're fixed.

If you want to help them with creating a patch, you shouldn't be calling names and complaining. You should be REPORTING bugs, and asking kindly for a patch. They've already created a US patch, and it won't be long since we get the EU one.

So just be patient, and stop the blabbering.

If you can't enjoy the game for what it is, don't play it!
