the ultimate splinter cell solution
ok, here is the ultimate solution to beat SF used on splinter cell and any other games which use this new version:
first of all, get the mini imagé. then go to the kitchen and unplug the fridge and the oven, otherwise it´s not gonna work. after you did that make sure that you unplug the monitor of your pc, otherwise it´s not gonna work. now build a network with your neighbour next door ITS GOTTE BE THE NEIGHBOUR NEXT DOOR, otherwise it´s not gonna work. after you build a network with him, go to his kitchen and unplug his fridge and his oven and then the monitor of his pc. after you unplugged your neighbours monitor, install deamon tools on his computer and send him the mini image. now walk back SLOW to your house, otherwise its not gonna work. when your at home´, apply the NO ELECTRICITY PATCH on your pc and wait for 8 straight hours, otherwise it´s not gonna work. then apply the ELECTRICITY BACK patch on your computer, but the monitor must still be unplugged, like the fridge and the oven. now call your neighbour AT 3 P.M( don´t get the time wrong, otherwise its not gonna work) and tell him to mount the mini image.(the monitor and the fridge and the oven must be unplugged all the time at his house as well, otherwise it´s not gonna work) now insert the backup in you unplugged drive and start the exe file. AND THERE YOU GO!!!! IT WORKS, al little rough business to get it to work, BUT IT WORKS.. ok the monitor must stay unplugged, but hey, it works, that´s all that counts, right? |

In fact, you can just turn off your monitor, and the game works well ... but if your turn it on, an error appears like bad cd key or use another driver ....

After extensive research into the matter I came up with the following solution to the problem. Be advised that the following method is not 100% guaranteed.
1/ Dress yourself so as not to cause distress to fellow shoppers 2/ Make your way to the nearest retail outlet for PC software 3/ Hand some of that funny paper stuff commonly know as money or a credit/debit card to the cashier 4/ In return the 13 year old spotty kid behind the counter will hand over a retail copy of Chaos Theory 5/ Go home 6/ Install said software using the legitimate keys provided 7/ Play the game ** Note that steps 1 and 2 can be skipped if ordering online This method worked perfectly for me even though the online portion of the game is a total waste of time. |

They have a "baby monitor". It's Battery Powered. Did anyone actually buy the new splinter cell yet? I am waiting to finish pandora tomorrow (which will never be done because i have FFX on the PS2 and then FFX-2) |

Yeah, that was pretty "hillarious" alright. Now if only I was in middle school again I could enjoy it fully like the rest of you seem to have. I guess being out of high school gives me a better idea of what "funny" is.

Hiho! Ich dachte, das ist vielleicht mal für alle sehr Lesenswert! Es ist möglich Splinter-Cell 3 ohne (org.) DVD oder USB-LW zu zocken! Ich erkläre nun wie das geht! Splinter Cell 3 Chaos Theory 1.Installiere das Spiel mit der Original-Version, gegebenenfalls auch mit dem Patch 1.2 (1.02 oder so) 2.Deaktiviere mit Starforce Nightmare deine Laufwerke oder klemme sie ab (habe ich nicht gemacht, ging auch ohne!!!) 3 Mounte dann das Mini-Image mit daemonTools oder Alcohol (lieber mit daemon - alc spinnt manchmal rum) 4.Starte das Spiel und benutze den standartmäßigen key ;-), der wohl geläufig ist! (wenn keiner vorhanden serialz.to mal schauen!) 5.Wenn du dann alles richtig gemacht hast, sollte die Fehlermeldung mit dem ungültigen Key kommen 6.Klicke dann auf "Information(en)" und anschließend auf "Ansehen(oder so was in der Art)" 7.kopiere den gesamten Fehlerbericht in eine E-Mail und schicke diese an [email protected] [In der e-mail solltest du kurz dein Problem beschreiben; Vielleicht ist es ratsam, dass du deinen ComputerNamen, der in dem Fehlerbericht änderst.. rein aus Vorsicht; Außerdem wäre es es besser die kurze Beschreibung deines Problems auf Englisch zu verfassen] (mein inhalt der mail hieß: >>> hello, i have this prob! if i want to start splinter cell 3 i always have trouble, because of scanning the dvd! please help me! <<<, danach folgte mein fehlerbericht (erstellt durch diese "informations-such-dings-tool" da!!!) A [dubious] solution to play backup of SCCT without USB2 drive
He installed SCCT with the original cd, then patched it with 1.2 patch. He deactivated the ide drives (with SFNightmare), mounted the mini-image from GCW, and tried to start the game using his regular key. He then got a standard Starforce error message. To resolve the situation, he sent an email to starforce support, describing his entire system and the error message. Actually, I think he is trying to say that we all should do the same. As a result the starforce people sent him a message; advising him to hold down shift key, run the game, and enter some special key. Surprisingly enough; this worked. The game started etc etc, and worked 100%, even though he re-activated the ide drives! Of course he was rather proud and wanted to share this information with us. Thereby revealing his love for pasting long strings of useless info... In other words, he claims that the starforce cd check can be bypassed with special keys in stead of the regular cd keys. The bad side is that you have to ask SF for it... |

Could someone please cut down kaspa's post? He's already posted it in over 5 threads, saying the same thing, and keeping that friggin huge error report in it, gets too boring to scroll down all that garbage.
Plus, I guess he didn't get the point of this thread being to give us a good laugh. He just saw "Splinter Cell" and posted. Kudos kolle2332. I'm currently moving, so I'll be sure to try this in my new home. Just one question, does it really matter if the neighbour is two doors away? |

you just forgot alot of things..... i did what you told us exactly , 1st it didn't work but then i did the following i bought 3 UPS (uninterruptible power source) i conected them to my pc & my neighbor's & my fridge (i was too hungry by the time i was doing this) and then i ate then i walked very slowly like a tutle which has a broken leg heading for the main state power supply and i slowly cutted off the whole state's power then i formated the pc ,(with the monitor unplugged) and then i ate i installed winXP mc 2005(with the monitor unplugged) i install SCCT(with the monitor unplugged) then i ate again and then i excuted the exe(with the monitor unplugged) , and there you go look if it didn't work for you you might wanna buy new computer, car & house . in another state coz you already messed up the power of this one and i doubt the ups will support you this long P.S.: if you have a wife you have to divorce her |

Hi Friends, you forgoth all to say that after the first saved game, otherwise it´s not gonna work (in MS DOS mode it's clear) otherwise it´s not gonna work,you can replug the monitor & fridge to have a cold beer, otherwise it´s not gonna work, by playing the rest of game :eek: :D . otherwise it´s not gonna work, and don't change the mouse otherwise it´s not gonna work, you must absolutly use the mouse they are used for initial installation otherwise it´s not gonna work, of the game, otherwise it´s not gonna work, and you can only play of neighbour's monitor otherwise it´s not gonna work, because your is now on otherwise it´s not gonna work.

hey guys i found something which makes all the other stuff posted before, including mine, unneccessary.
all you have to do is to use this brand new product: http://img272.echo.cx/img272/6767/starforceclean0wr.jpg 1. clean the bottom of your kitchen with it. 2. mix 1/4 of starforceclean with hot water in a bucket. 3. put the splinter cell 3 cd in the bucket with the mixture for 22 hours. 4. after that take a towel and dry the cd with it, couse the cd might be a little wet. 5. now go to your neighbour and clean his kitchen with starforceclean. 6. now all the starforcecopyprotection is removed from the cd and you can play. this also works with other starforcegames. just make sure to put the games for 22 hours in the bucket filled with hot water and starforceclean and of course, cleaning your kitchen with it before and after putting it in the bucket, your neighbours kitchen of course. you can get starforceclean at your local store. check it out. |

this is a bug of the old product, the old product doesn´t work with new starforce used on splinter cell 3. the company released a update product for the new version of starforce used e.g on SC3. maybe your local store is still selling the old product. make sure to get the updated one. |

Hmmm with this method I might actaully be able to play SCCT, but naaaaah.. I just go play the xbox version instead... :p
But this was really needed, to get a light and fun view of the whole SF things going around these days. :) |
