Obscure - german crack?
 

I search the German Crack for obscure, the English no cd wont work,

As far as I am aware there is only a 'Fixed Image' available for the German Version of Obscure. You probably know where to find it but just in case you dont know you can find it here. ;)

Download the spanish one, from Rld-Delirium group. It will show u where the languaje p-code is fixed, and what u should replace for ur release.

I've send the german and also the spanish V1.1 NoCD crack (by !ReLOADeD!) to GameCopyWorld.

it does NOT work, you can't save

I know its a silly question but did you use the CDrom in your inventory to save.

yes, but save failed. It's not only my problem, i was arround in some forums and there is this problem with the german version, too

I know, it has some bugs, like the annoying sound disappears or the camera wont follow you in certain rooms.

Finished it on easy, hate to see it on normal :o was hard on easy.

do you play on winxp?
what game version do you have? english or german?

English and yes its on XP.

I play German and Xp and no crack is working, the englisch one, i cant read the text, with the german crack i cant save and with the spanish crack i have the same problem with the englisch

could you please try to save with the english crack? you dont need to read texts coz you know whre to klick ;)

but in the videos is no sound :(

Yes saving works ok with the engilsh crack. ;)

than i know what the problem is, there is a crc check or something in the exe file (german crack is the same as reloadeds, just one byte changed)

maybe someone can fix it.

no, but it's not a crack problem it's a problem of the game itself, seems saves in german version are different from english version.

Well that is a pain in the butt! Not much fun, or use, if you cant save!

jop and there possibly never will be a fix until obscure is at low budget (<10€) because starforce is very expensive

There is a new German Low Budget version of Obscure out since April 14:
"Obscure - Best of Atari" for 14,99 €.

The new Syberia Deluxe Edition (also from Atari) has no more Starforce and you even don't need the DVD anymore after installation, so probably this one also?

the best of version does not have starforce, if you know somebody who bued this version, let us know :)

I had the same problem with the German Version of Obscure,cannot save!!!
Got from Emule a spanish mini image mountet with Damoen Tools,all Emus on,
Starforce Nightmare,disable Ch2 and disable CD and the game runs so great
with saving at every time .Version1.1 of course!!!

There's a No-CD out for weeks, so I think you all know already. It's Obscure_fix2.zip by Delirium Group. You can save (nearly) everywhere. But it seems to bug in the dining hall at the fuse box, you can't open it.

Today I tested the German "Best Of Atari" version and I can say that this is not true.

The "Best of" version also has starforce and even the DVD label has not changed from the original version (falsely "Keine Jugendfreigabe" imprinted instead of "ab 16 Jahren").

The only difference is that the DVD-Box frontcover has some minor changes.

So Atari support lied. Another way to loose customers
