Sims 2 University Help
 

Hey guys i have a prob i think. Im using the TNT_Sims_2_University_MiniImage to play without the CD and my teenager dont have the optin to goto class at college. Is this because of the image or am i not doing something right? If thats the case how do i get my sim to goto class?

As of now, the English version mini-image at GCW for the Sims 2 University is garbage... Infact many of the mini-images posted at GCW do not work.

All the mini image's I've tested works. Ether are you garbage or your emulation software garbage! I let you make the pick!

The mini images are a simulation of the real full sized disc in "mini format".
So if the game starts there should be no problems in the game except for the bugs that's already in the game.
However if you whant to dubbelcheck USE your own ORIGINAL CD/DVD to test if problems get solved!

I've got another problem using the Mini Image. I mounted the mds File using Daemon Tools 3.47, but when I try to start the game, it keeps saying something about detecting an Emulationsoftware and to turn it off in order to start the game. But how can I mount the Miniimage, if I disable my Daemon? Or am i doing something wrong?

Don't know howmany times we have to repeat this. Uninstall software like CloneCD, CloneDVD etc.

Only have Deamon Tools and/or Alcohol as image driver. CloneCD, CloneDVD, Virtual Image etc. gets detected.

Download latest CloneCD, CloneDVD etc. In new version they (SlySoft) "remove" their soft from blacklisting by EA.

Well the image that i mounted with D-Tools does wor cause im playing without the CD in the drive. My question is how to i get my sim to goto class now?

You get notified 1 (one) hour before the class start by the game. When that happens, if your sim does not go to class automatically, click on him, then "university", then "go to class".

also, I'm using "BLeH! mini-image" from GCW, and the game it's working fine. Don't know if there is another mini-image for the University EP.

Sorry, but I'm sure you're doing something wrong. Mini-images are proved to work 99% of the time and are much more effective than no-cd cracks. Just to let you know, the latest no-cd cracks for Sims 2 University have more or less over than 30 gameplay issues (ALL listed in EA's Technical Support website.)

So, right steps to do:

1. Uninstall the game and delete the Sims 2 University folder.
2. Install the game.
3. Do NOT apply any cracks.
4. Make sure you have uninstalled Clone CD.
5. Mount the mini-image using Daemon Tools.
6. Start the game.

Well, I can't really think what's wrong... I guess that if you're still having problems, you should stick with your original CDs.

I never tested Daemon Tools, but in Alcohol120% you have to turn on the protection-emulation!

PLEASE HELP when i install the sims 2 university at the end it wants to update when it asks for The Sims 2 CD 4 and i put it, i press ok and it still asks for the cd, i really need help PLEASE!!!!!! :eek: send help to my email: ramyalsharif********com

i tried all the mini-images using alcohol and none of them work. will it work if i use DM tools?

what is mini-image???? i install the sims 2 university and then cannot start the game already? i already copy the two file "SIMS2EP1_1.MDS & SIMS2EP1_1.MDF" to the tsbin then i start the game (my friend tell me that no need to install the daemon tool and mount the image, just copy & paste the two file in the tsbin then it will work). then it appear "please ensure the sim2 university disc in the drive" and cannot go into the game. please help me i want to play the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

Use the originals, if you dont have them then dont come here looking for answers as the forum does not support warez.
