Does anyone have a working no-cd patch for House of the Dead 3? Thanks.

I've read that the Hoodlum crack is a bad crack, so don't use it!

The Reloaded crack on GCW still has the CD Check present :rolleyes: so I made a NoCD from it and sent it to GCW :)

When I replace the exe with the cracked version (I tryied both nocd cracks from gcw) and I try to run the game, it starts loading for 1 second and then returns to windows.
I tried both full screen and window modes, but it does not work.
In window mode a new window pops up which closes immediately, while in full screen mode it switches to full screen instantly and then returns back to windows)
Any ideas? :confused:

I am using winxp with sp2 on an Athlon xp 2600+ with 1 GB ram and ATI 9700 Pro with the latest catalyst drivers.

__Manolis, does your original protected CD work? If it that doesn't work then it's probably not the crack!!

I run WinXP with SP1, Athlon XP 1900+, 1GB Ram, Geforce3 with 71.80 drivers, DirectX 9.0c and my NoCD works fine for me. You may know this, but you have to run 'hod3Launch.exe' and not 'hod3pc.exe' to run the game.

is this game good? I played the first one and I didn't like it

two cracks vesion doesn't work.i hope find other one.

There's a noCD-crack by RVL which works.

Still doesn't work here....
 

i tried all nocd patches from gcw... including the recently added from RVL... even though still the same error :mad: ( game switches to full screen a instantly returns to desktop...) i've tryed every single combination of graphical options possible and nothing changed.... :confused:

If you didn't like the "House of the Dead" series, try "Typing of the Dead". _That_ is a great idea, horror-based education software ("edutainment")! :D

with the original disc works fine...

The thing iI didn't liked about the first House of Dead is that you couldn't do the movement yourself the character moved alone and the only thing capable of use myself was the fire button (the left click) For me that is complete no brainer and silly I like the games where i can move mysefl (like most of the games) not an automated camera doing all job

You should've checked out Typing of the Dead. It is the same idea with the automatic camera movement but you don't move a target cursor for shooting; rather, you have to type words and, later, sentences to shoot the zombies. THAT IS FUN! :D

the diference is WORKS FINE WITH THE ORIGINAL DISC....

though, i have 20 plus games installed in my comp... so a nocd its essencial to play.... ( i wont keep a mountain of cds near my computer....:(

the problem i have with teh game..and i think its the +8 trainer that causes it ( i havent had time to play it with out) that teh game just sticks in one place and teh camera doesent move...any one else had this issue?

We can't help you, when you don't try it without trainer.
We need to know if you get the same error when you play the game without crack&trainer using your original cd.

Hes used Whitey's Slow motion option. Ive already talked to him, and he was bemused about it sticking at sections.

it must be either teh rapid fire,or kill all enemys option,because any trainer that has those options crashes the game when switched on in certain areas.

yes it works fine with original cd..
and with the crack.

just a game i picked up dirt cheap at the local game station,realised theres no gun that works with tft monitors...so i just wanted to get through it fast.

i never used to freeze all enemys cheat.
