Vampire bloodlines 1.2 backup crack available?
 

I am looking for the crack (backup ofcourse) to VTM: bloodlines v1.2

This is because one of the problems fixed in the 1.2 official patch (Fixed crash to desktop when the player returns to the boat after rescuing Johansen from the Society of Leopold), is causing me to be unable to continue the game.

I have tried patching, and then applying the 1.0 crack (all the available ones), after which the game works but the problem that was supposed to be fixed still remains.


Anyone able to help me?

no, it seems like a 1.2 crack hasnt been made yet. or if it has, it hasnt been made widely available yet. just wait a little longer im sure one will get made.

basically you're still having the same problem because the cracked vampire.dll has been made from v1.0 of the game, so if you use the v1.2 patch, then the 1.0 crack, you're undoing some of the fixes.

Play without the crack until you are past the boat. Then use the crack after that.

Well I have solved the problem, You don´t need a crack.

First install the game, then the 1.2 patch, then just look for the CD3 ISO (not the full one) it's a small one that you should mount as virtual drive with alcohol 120% or daemon tools.

That's it, you can play the game with all the 1.2 patch features.

If you can´t find the iso tell me and I'll post the link. :D

U are a smart guy, but i tried it already and i can tell u it doesnt work. Well it doesnt work with my pc but i think it doenst work in general

I'm sure it works cause it worked on my PC, I have almost finished the game, the leopold society bug has gone :D

Perhaps u downloaded the wrong iso, there is one of 2.5 MB, the one I'm playing with is a 18.5 MB iso.

Thx. It really works now! I tried it again, the patch was a wrong one... The game was cool. But no movie at the end. That's a shame.

Does somebody know about the uncensored version, I have read that the US version is not censored, I have de UK version and wanna know which are the differences

No we have been asking about the American version for a while now but never had anyone actually confirm it yet. ;)

i live in the UK so i've got the UK version. i did think there was something wrong with the introduction as it seems to skip a bit around the decapitation bit. i've heard both that this is just the way the game is, and also that the decapitation occurs onscreen in the USA version.

what i've done is bought another copy from the USA on ebay that is yet to arrive. however i asked the seller about the decapitation and he says it is offscreen on his USA version too.

there's also no official word on the game being censored. neither the official site nor anywhere else has any information on it. all i've read about it has been on forums where someone has said 'i heard the game was censored' so personally i think its just a rumour that got out. maybe it started because they made the game, then had to censor it for release, so perhaps *all* versions are censored, although possibly the USA release is *less* censored than other versions

if anyones still interested i'll report back on specific differences once i have both versions. although i really don't think it will be anything that makes a huge difference to the game.

I tried the 18.5mb iso, (which seems to be for CD1 not Cd3) and it dosen't work for me. I just get the message where it says that emulations software detected. I tried with deamon and alcohol and got the same result. Is there another iso i should get?

that cd/dvd emulation error will always occur if you have CloneCD 5 installed, which no doubt you do. You need to disable your "hide CD-R media" option in your clonecd tray to avoid this problem. Also to all, i would recommend using LinSon's mini-image, it's smaller in size and works!

I'm curious, I started using this one but my game skips & zooms in every so often?? Anyone had this happen? I'm currently still using my CD's because it was getting so bad...?
