colin mcrae 2005 no cd has been released and it has starforce 3 protection too!!!

You can shearch all you want but sheare shtill ishent a NoSh'd patch available! Jusht becaushe one hash been releashed for Colin Mcrae 05 doesht mean one will automatically appear for Obshcure! :p

Yeh he's right its only for the demo! I just tested it.

Hmm.....I don't remember the demo having any protections.....weird!

Maybe they took the demo exe and used it to bypass the protection on the full?

Here's my take on the crack:

You have lost your crack file. You don't even know where you kept it. But StarForce knows. You need to uncover your crack, but they don't want you to. What they haven't realised is what game you're gonna crack.

only because it starts, doesn't mean it works, after you rescue the man on the basement, escape from the monsters and go up the stairs again, the game exits and leaves you whitout nothing.

i dont believe that the user that played 5 hours and didn't passed from the beginning, that is a fake and same as fake as the medicine :cool:

Hmmm this is really starting to become an off again on again affair!

I did test it further and yeh about 5 minutes into the game as you leave the basement it resets back to the menu!
I have deleted the other posts of mine about this game and the demo crack!
I didnt want to lead anyone else astray! Sorry again. :o

Why you buy a game and don't play it, just because no crack is available?
Do you have the original cd/dvd ?

I actually have the original game and I too dont really play it much! I find it rather annoying actually. Its not really what I expected when I bought it. I find it gets a bit boring to tell you the truth.
Anyway back to the crack, I went off and played it again using the crack and yeh what a pain, when you get out off the basement it just resets!! It quits out to the menu again! Geez if I had only played it for 1 more minute when i first tested the crack I would have realized this earlier!

If he does that, he is perfectly right :) . That's the best thing to do. Too much hassle with the protection that does not recognize my drives, :mad: too much drivers in my system that are an open door for virus and spyware. :mad: Look a little at the driver files that Tagès or Starforce have set as permanent citizens of your system, and you know how to make a virus ! :cool:

Until last year, I bought the games, tested them one hour, and waited to get the crack to seriously play with them. In 2005, I will get the crack at GCW, read FileForums to see if it works, and then buy the game. I will nevermore buy a game if I don't have a working crack before.

For people like me, GCW and FileForums are now... a help to sell the games! And if more people makes like me, the market will become a little more adult.
