i downloaded EVERY crack i could find on this site and on megagames.com, but NOTHING worked.... could some one please maybe link a funktional crack...

you mean it just loads for hours or doesn't start?

if i start a black window comes out, and then it goes to windows... and this with all cracks

not wierd. Read the stickeys about blackscreen! or search it on the forum. I don't think I rember wrong if I say that I saw something about it in this forum before about blackscreen and how to fix it! READ THE stickeys and seaarch! :D

Do you have a nvidia graphics card? If you do, and if you are using the latest drivers, then you need to go back to the drivers before the last one! I,m sure I read on these forums somewhere there is a problem with the latest nvidia drivers! ;)

Then forget my suggestion then, but I did just read the link you just posted and followed it thru, you can download your refresh rate fixing software here. ;)

I havent actually used the program myself, didnt even know about it untill I read the thread from the link you posted! I dont have problems with a black screen in any games. :) I'd have to read the article again to see if they were refering to the game or the display settings in window for your monitor!

Ok, I've just installed the refresh rate program, (not that I need it as my monitor will easily do 120) and reread the tutorial 'Machina' posted.
I think they mean just set all the settings to default in the refresh rate program? Refresh overiding should be set to 'OFF'

Machina is actually saying in his thread to NOT use this sort of software!!
He is saying it is this type of software which messes up the DirectX refresh rates! He goes on to say to reset the program to its default settings then UNINSTALL IT!
It is 'RincewindTheWiz' who says he uses this software but with a Geforce 3 card! You have a Geforce 4 card and therefore may want to try Machina's other suggestion with the DXDIAG!
And also the thread was written 14 months ago!!

oh man... i tried everything out.... the last thing i can do now is this with the n-vidia driver. but this won't work

Did you try Machina's suggestion with DirectX?
