I get a data differs from error? Anyone else get this?

The CD protection is dropped but can't connect to servers :(

If its like all the other battlefield patches you will need to copy over the BfVietnam.org as well, that will stop the Data Differs from servers errors. ;)

I just hope somebody fixes the problem with PB kicking everybody all of the sudden since 1.21.

i keep getting banned from pb servers and it says cd key invalid, mine is valid. the org file and everything is in there. i don't get it could it be this pb is detecting no-cd cracks?

everyone is getting this , PB needs ot be updated first , and the exe doesnt have to do anything with cd keys so i cant help you with that ( see other treats about that issue ) , so go into your registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield Vietnam\ergc and check again if its the right cd key .
the .org file is the original file that was renamed , this is done cause battlefield does a crc check on its own exe , to check if something is changed aka cracked , so we change it so it checks bfvietnam.org instead of bfvietnam.exe , reason the file has to be included . Same for the setup.ini , there is a cd check where it looks for that file on the cd drive when you activate a mod , so i changed it that it would look for the file in the same directory as the exe , reason that file has to be included also , i am sure i can make it without the setup.ini so it looks for a basic file already in the exe folder so i dont have to include a file more , but i had to rush and make sure ppl could play the new patch the same day with a nocd :) , enjoy .

when I installed the 1.21 patch and crack and started the game I only got an black screen and had to reset my PC. does anybody know why and how I can solve this problem?

What protection does BF use, safedisk? Could you do Crack for Tiger Woods 1.1? Pm me if possible for rwards:)

Invalid cd-key means what it says, that you are not on a retail cd-key.

I did the crack just like the last 5 that came out copied over all files to the right spots even updated pb but weverytime i try to join a game it loads map then goes black screen lags my pc for 3 or 4 minutes then says DATA DIFFERS FROM SERVER then i try to rejoin same server and im banned because of pb wtf? anyone got any clue?

Every time i start battlefield with the nocd it goes the the blackscreen and I get a winxp error report message. Can anyone help?

DmDriver5 all I did was downloaded the files that (Joker SS) has on his post, and then opened it with the "WinRAR" tool pointed towards "Battlefield Vietnam". After that I opened up my computer then local disk c: then Programs files then Battlefield vietnam. I then opened the folder that was there and highlighted all four files and copyed them to my Battlefield vietnam folder. It asked me to say yes to all and i did. Worked like a charm. (So I put the floder in my Battlefield Vietnam folder and copied all files inside that folder to Battlefield Vietnam.) Hope this works for you. Later

I installed the game

copy the cracked over

using a store BOUGHT (unlike most) store bought I got a receipt cd key. Every time i try to join a server it says wrong version

Now i copied all the files over.

Does anyone for the love of GOD know how to fix this problem so I can use a no cd crack with a legit cd key to play online without having my screen go black and reset to desktop or wrong version would you like to update ?!?!?

I would like to know if there is a fix or if there isnt !?

So there is no way to play on line cracked Battlefield with cracked s/n, because it will always give you the message that Cd key is invalid.!!!???

I dont understand why to have no cd crack when it doesnt work on the game with the cracked s/n. Thats why we get the No cd patch, right? We download the game from inet, find key gen. and apply No cd patch, but no no ... it doesn't work!!! Why??? I have been changing the s/n for numerous times and non of the them work!

TUT TUT...Have you,actualy scrap that because its obvious you havent read the rules.= No help with WAREZ,D/L,S.N,KEYGENS ETC ETC. From your post its clear you dont have a legit version yet you tell this to the world :confused: . Read the rules if you intend to continue using this forum otherwise you will be banned. (thats if your not banned anyway once a mod see's your post). Ohh and by the way a cracked exe (nocd) has nothing to do with the serial number. You dont understand why we use them if they dont allow online play with a warez version ? well most people own the original disk (and if not dont go telling the world) and when they have a valid cdkey/SN a nocd makes it poss to play game without hasle of inserting a disk every time and legit keys + nocd's normally allow online play. (thats one of the things you pay for when you buy a original game = legit SN meaning online play.
