Cant play Need for Speed Underground 2
 

I recently bought this game and tried to install using the CD's. Then I tried copying the file image using Alcohol 120%. Everything intalled correctly but when I tried to run the game the error message says "CD/DVD emulation software detected" It must be disabled before I can play the game. Is ther anything at all I can do to get this game to play without having to take Alcohol 120% off of my computer.

I dont know what alcohol 120% is but... I can't help you there buddy. If it is important dont take it off. NFSU 2 sounded like it would stink but i liked the first one so i didnt get it. its fun anyway. :)

alcohol is a cd copying program wich also includes a virtual cd/dvd drive to emulate images. If you get that error, hmm, i think u might have to uninstall it.

I too recieve the emulation errors when trying to use the original discs to play but have so far been lucky to find NoCD cracks for the games I own. (Not that I have NFS-Underground2 yet, but have it ordered and will have it Friday)
I know there are already NoCD cracks available for NFS-U2!

Is there anyone else out there who's unsuccessful with running any of the no cd cracks? I constantly get errors when I try to use any of these. Anyone able to shed light to this?

The version of Alcohol 120% (v.1.9.2.175) I have works fine with NFSU2. Mind you it is the latest version of Alcohol. If you have the same version try turning off the emulation stuff in the options.

i downloaded reloaded's crack for nfsu 2 from gamecopyworld and whenever i run it, it restarts my computer every time is this just me or does this happen to anyone else?

The crack for NFSU2 V1.1 by RELOADED and also the one by SKuLL is working fine for me!

Hey guys, if anyone of you has trouble with the nocd cracks (I also do...) you should know that you're probably running on SP2... Servise Pack 2 makes an error with nfs und 2 NoCd cracked exe... (positivley shure about it...) So we can only wait for someone to make a NoCd crack for the SP2... :( :( :(

I finally recieved my ordered copy from the shop today, and have it installed, with the v1.1 upate also installed, on an SP2 system using 'Reloaded's' NoCD crack and the games works perfectly! So SP2 is not your problem. ;)

NfsU2 : Everytime when i go to the explore modus the game hang
 

Please can anybody help me?!
I´m from germany but the europe crack doesn`t work.so i use the uk crack V1.0....it works!
but when i have done a race..sometimes also 3or4 race.the game load again the explore mode ..and it load load and load..but nothing happens... :( what can i do?its really sucks!

Hello Guys!

I have the original german version of NFSU2 and I try to play the game with new patches (version 1.4 from www.nfs-planet.de) and with all no_cd or fixed.exe 's I found but it doesn't works fine.

The game starts without the "ea games logo" and then I know that it won't work.

For all guys: Download the newest alcohol 120 version!
(1.9.2. 1705) and make a image of cd 2!

(general protected disk, skip reading errors, sub channel on)

If you make it good,the creaation of the image is done in 50minutes.
Then burn the image to a cd.Use the standards in alcohol!

Don't patch the game!Use the original speed.exe and let the cd in your drive!

If you see the "ea games logo" your game will be worked perfectly!

yes thats my problem 2 plz help us...

At my machine even after Deinstallation of Daemon-Tools the game quits with the CD/DVD Emulation message. On German Versions the us/english Crack works only partially because files are names differently (I think). Maybe someone cracks the German 1.1. Then most of the Problems would be gone ;-)

ANYONE PLEASE!!hlp me.. i get the speed2.exe error.. tried all the cracks and updates.. none of those crap worked... so plzz.. how do i fix it?
