unfortunately, half the people aren't even playing yet.

Anyone play it yet? it is very very nice.

So, has it lived up to your expectations? The reviews for it so far seem to be excellent so far. Even though they hint that you are only really getting half the game ;)

I wasn't too happy to find out after hours & hours of playing this game, that it's a "to be continued" game. Other than that, I feel it blows the first out of the water.

My brother is the big single player guy, but I dig the multi better than anything. I have only played a little bit, but what I have seen so far has been awesome....Except why is everything in French....hehe :) just kidding
If you don't get it....then nevermind.. :) Anyway... Yeah...I was also upset about the supposed ending.....But if Metal gear can keep doing it to us....So can MS... :D

Did anyone wait in line last night? My friend works at EB and of course they had it on Wed of last week...I am sure he had a copy then..

Yeah...I just read that Halo 3 will be due out in July of 2005...but it will be pushed back 4 times to May 2015.....Date subject to change :p

man, i am going to completely contradict my first post. I have been playing online all day. After about 40 games of the exact same gametypes, i am beginning to get bored already.

I mean, it is set up really funky. You can only make your own game types if you want to play with people on your friends list. When you want to play online, it is all randomized...to an extent. You cannot choose the amount of players, rules, maps, weapon types, or anything. You are thrwon in a game that is "ranked" to about the same as you are. Then the mode is randomized. But, not the settings, just the map and gametpe (like ctf, assault). It sucks, they choose what you are going to play. You cannot shoose what you want to play.

BTW if you read this AXMichigan.. XBC is the shiz.. Excellent recommendation..

Oh and the connect for Halo2 is a hell of a lot better than the first for some reason.. Now everything runs nice and smooth.. Probably because it was optimized to be played online.

I had the same prob with the game Syberia. I was all into it and then all of a sudden "To Be Continued". Worst thing about it was that it had no date set for when it would be continued. Well only a couple of weeks ago the continuation came out and heck if I havent forgot pretty much all thats been going on with the game already. :mad:

The Metal Gear Solid series has never ended on a To Be Continued screen. Yes, Hideo tries to setup a sequal after the credits roll ("Yes, Mr President" or "...Over 100 Years ago" ;)) , but its pretty clear the game has finished when you actually get to kill the final boss. From what I can gather, HALO 2 has no ending like this :D

:( i went into all the shops today 10/11/04 and looked to see if i can get a sneeky copy of halo 2 someone told me that safeway and tesco were selling them today so i decided to go down there and neither sold xbox games only ps2 games is gamist! So i went into my local special researve and the guy already had the games on the shelf and he wouldnt let me buy one argh how annoying and then he goes and buys himself a limited ed one!!!!! cheeky special researve staff! :( one unhappy gamer cant wait till 2moz is 33 pounds a good price 2 pay?

For anyone who played the first halo, here is a scenario. Imagine you get to the part where you first find a way to destroy halo, by overloading those generaters. Well, at the end of the scene cortana would say, "alright, lets get going". If the game were to just suddenly stop after that part, and start showing credits, that is how H2's ending is.

is it a very big game? im going to get it after college. how long did it take you guys to complete it. I cant wait to hook it 2 xbox live!

it is about 10 hours if you explore a little, with maybe an hour or so of in-game scenes included. 13 fully playable levels. I would get it is fun in multiplayer

i got it im on the arbiter mission where you get to be the alien! how far is that

not too far. You can look which level you are on in the level select. The 15th is the last.

I thought Halo 2 was bigger
