The Verdict on GTA:SA DVD5 or DVD9
 

Without misleading the Topic, I know the Game came out today in the store B/c there was huge line down EB at the mall..
Someone shed some light please..

I will let you know tomorrow when it is released maybe the line at eb was for preorders

I can't wait til Friday (in Australia) to pick up my pre order. the EB store near my place are opening an hour earlier just for people to pick up their pre order.


But IMO, doesn't really matter if it's in DVD5 or DVD9 because i just want to play the damn game (if it's in DVD5 then good is HDLoader compatible)

I'm still waiting to hear too. One of my friends from school is getting it today from EB. He had it preordered and they called him last night to pick it up. It was too late though. Will probably know by the end of the day though. Hope so anyway.

It's DVD5. Single Layer, 4.19 gb. It's been confirmed by people who have the game. :eek:

Yeah I just got mine. Single layer like stated above. Its a bit different the the earlier two games but cool non the less. It has EZ-E in it!! lol thats great.

I dont exactly like the having to eat and be concerned about it deal. I just like going on a rampage but oh well. Works great off my 120gig hdd too via hdloader.

I feel sorry for you UK'ers if you get a dual layered version.

Well to all of you who already have the game I hate you.. With that aside.. I'm kind of confused on why they would put the other version on Dual Layer if the US version is only single layer..

Would that mean they'd include more stuff on the DL versions.. Or does PAL take up more space.. Could someone clear that up for me? Gracias.

Oh yea and I thought that was EZ-E in the comercials but I didn't want to get my hopes up.. Sweeeet

Wait are you talking about MGS2 Sons of Liberty or MGS2 Substance? Sons of Liberty is Single Layer, Substance is Dual Layer. Substance has extra features and such and came out after Sons of Liberty. Snake can skateboard, new sub plot twists, etc.

I just got my copy today...yes it's DVD5. I ain't complain, very good game and now i'll try to load it on the hard drive and post up some results asap.

on a side note. i'm just pissed off that the map was all sticky and ripped on me

yep i got mine 12:00 midnight. they opened game (store) so people can get one. There was a massive line for the game.

Anyone tried backing it up yet, and if so can you tell us. Already tried it, but stops after the loading screen.
