New Features and additions:

- VMODE now selectable as PAL or NTSC
- Enhanced Codebreaker compatibility
- Misc code cleanup in preparation for v1.4 :-)


Notes :

- VMODE option in configuration menu has been replaced by separate PAL/NTSC selections.
This should enable even people with uncommon PS2/TV combinations (e.g. PAL PS2 on an NTSC television) to find the best configuration to match their setup.

- Original and backup Codebreaker 8.x should now work as expected.

Yeah and maybe this time they will actually fix the RCE protection on V9 and V10 PS2's when playing DVD's from other regions (not that a give a damn about this one) and the anti-mod protected PSX games like they said they would a long time ago.

However I'm very impressed with what they have accomplished. I like being able to boot the PS2 in dev 1 mod and have it boot HDL right from the mem card with absolutely no disc in the drive at all!! When it boots up it goes straight to the HDL screen, dont even see the swirling sony pre-boot screen....very cool.

Bloody hell! What's got into them all of a sudden? I'm definately not complaining though - and v1.4? Looks like I'm going to have to get myself an Infinity for definate now :D

what got into them? prolly the coder made a full recovery from his carpol tunnle syndrom

Which one should i get?

1.31, 1.35 or 1.36....i assume 1.35 as it says that 1.36 is for the V12 and mines a V10 right?

Also am i right in thinking that the 1.35 will have all the other features as 1.31 and all the previous ones?

Edit - oops the 1.36 is for Infinity Manager, So it should be 1.35 as thats all i can download.

I can use my codebreaker 8 on mine just fine.. I haven't flashed it or anything.. What kind of problems are you guys having?

mine just hangs at a black screen but plays fine if i turn off the chip with i have the 1.35 FW

So are people getting errors with this?

Should i risk it i never upgraded it before...i didn't even fit the chip.

the only problem i have had is it will not work with my code breaker. go ahead and update

And if your not happy with the current flash you can always revert back to an older flash.
