BFV: Mod problem
 

I have the same problem as another user already posted. Unfortunately, the thread was closed due to warez talk, so I have opened this one to find out if others have this problem and maybe even a solution.

I used the no-cd crack, and now I am no longer able to connect to servers running the ww2 mod for Battlefield Vietnam. I always get the Insert CD message, regardless of whether I use ASE or the ingame browser.

For some reason I have no problem connecting to original BFV games.
Is there any modified crack out there?

So does it work with your original CD in the drive?

I use drive emulation and have never had a problem with any of the patches or with this latest WW2 mod.

If you installed the game by default. These custom config command lines should work for the PoE and BFV_WW2Mod A.S.E. filters.

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\BfVietnam.exe" +game PoE +restart 1

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\BfVietnam.exe" +game BFV_WW2Mod +restart 1

Coincidence that ASE updates and I'm asked for CD in game and thru ASE for the mods that launched fine the day before. Vanilla BFV wasnt affected. Maybe I should stop letting ASE update. Any other good game browsers?

with the mods coming out i noticed there was a second cd check , i fixed this in the final crack for 1.1 patch , you can download it here :)

Hello all

I just got command lines working for Battle field Vietnam and one mod the World war 2 mod
("C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\BfVietnam.exe" +game BFV_WW2Mod +restart 1) as well. After that I can't get any other mods to work.
The help I need is how to fond out what well start the mod for BF V
the mods are ICS , DICECITY(Grandtheftauto mod), and Homefront (halo mod)
Is it hit and mis,in a file on my P.C. or DO I go to a web page of the people that make the mod and if they are still a round and ask them ?
The reason I ask that the game looks for CD to start any mod I lost my CD in the Findlay ohio Flood in fact most of my CDs I lost so Im vary great full to all the people that make these EXE mini CDs files.

You shouldn't have said that. You can get no help here if you don't have the original CD/DVD's.

well Thanks for not helping the guy down on his luck. Funnly part I have recet it was in my paper work long with so called flood Insurance that well not pay any out because they only pay to house damage not any thing in side house (by the way don't get Flood flood Insurance UNLESS they state they pay for your things in side EVEY ONE OHIO that provides flood Insurance do not)

You can contact the publishers and explain your story for a small fee they will replace your media that was lost due to the flood.

We cant help people who lost their media as then it becomes a piracy issue, yes its silly, but you dont own the game you own the right to play it aslong as you have the original media, if its broken or missing then you dont have the right to play it.

Silly yes, but thats the law unfortunately.

If you do have your CD-key just contact the publisher and let them know what happened, thats the best help you can get im afraid.


But on a side note, and im not pointing fingers or calling anyone a liar, if the flood got your media how did it not get your PC, and how did you manage to install the game?

as the water was coming in to the house I had only few things to get one of 5 P.C.s and my fireproof waterproof BOX of papers I lost my other 4 P.C.s with Pc under one hand and fireproof waterproof BOX in other hand I climbed to the altick while the house and my car went under water
Sorry for bowing up But I Lost every thing mind you EVERY THING.I'm little off kiter lately I well try EA games route but to be honest It well not mater if have the key or not or the bill sales.There ass about must stuff that iv had command conquer 3 same deal they say they can't help.
O well I told them I would only buy the games that EA help get to the market place once they go though 2nd buyer I well not give any more money directly.
