Whare Can i download the NO CD CRACK ( Beyond Divinity )

n00bie 23-11-2004 13:38

There is only one way to crack Beyond Divinity and that requires u physically unplugging your cd rom drives and loading an image of the cd. This is one game no one has managed to crack without doing the above.

Quite simply this is one you will have to use your original cd for.

Luciel 23-11-2004 17:13

same as with toca race driver 2, dont spect a crack because its non existant and will remain that way.

kamasutras 10-01-2005 11:03

hmm...

Well it’s not a big deal anyway…you only need the CD at the beginning (at the cd check)...
You can take it out for the rest of the game and use Alt+Tab to minimise and do other jobs.
Of course I suppose you have the original game ;)

omni555 21-02-2005 23:28

Hmmmm.... I wonder why THIS one is such a hard nut to crack?... (no pun intended!)

Sacred is now playable without the CD (in the most recent update!), but still nothing for BD...

As I recently posted in another thread, I have a GREAT MANY boxed original games, and I pride myself in this. However, I ALSO pride myself in refusing to purchase a game until it can be played on my system without the CD. And no, I am NOT going to spend time here justifying this position. Those of you out there reading this who NEED an explanation will NEVER be satisfied, and the REST of you KNOW what I am talking about!

Anyway, my money will stay in my pocket as far as this and several other games is concerned UNTIL such time as I can play them THE WAY I WANT TO...

Beyond Divinity = protected with StarForce3
Sacred = protected with VOBprotect

FarCry 23-02-2005 19:38

I WILL SAY TWO WORDS ONLY:

STARFORCE NIGHTMARE

i played bd and soldiers of ww2 with mini images without unplugging anything. it works like a charm

This tool lets you deactivate CDRom drives in your system. Actually it supports
not just deactivating of all drives on IDE channel, like star**** it do, but even a
cd drive separately. Also the combination of hard drive and cd drive on the same channel
would be possible too.

This tool is designed for using under Windows XP-Windows 2003 Server (Beta support for Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 98 and Windows 95)
(IMPORTANT: This tool will not work under Windows 95)
(On Windows2000 systems your host should not be administrated externally by another main computer in the network, else you will not be able to run it properly)

PS: it works fine even for starforce version 3.4.65.11, but as described above, by
using the function "deactivate channel" since version 3.4.65.09 you may have to wait up
to 2 minutes till starforce finished its senseless trying to reset your channel.
It is the problem of hardware incompability of starforce and appears on every system
without physically installed ATAPI drives on IDE controller.
By using the function of deactivating cd drives separately it should start immediately :)

ANY QUESTIONS?

parvulus 13-03-2005 21:57

I've got some questions:
It ought to be possible to create something to bypass the check, shouldn't it?

The problem is clearly in the protect.dll files of starforce, can't someone just create an executable for the game which doesn't call "protect.dll" at the beginning?

I've heard of <i>some</i> starforce games being cracked, like Star Wolves.

I suppose I just don't understand why it is any harder to create a "no-cd crack" for this game than it is for any game, perhaps someone can elaborate to someone as inexperienced in the field as I?

P.S. : What is the process for creating cracks, anyway? Do they check what resources are called and then just try to write another executable from scratch?

Latest patch 1.47

My disks got destroyed in the hurricanes here in FL when I had to move, so all I have left is what was installed on my laptop to play. I don't want to have to go buy the game again.

I have updated my installation to the latest 1.47 patch, and have tried to mount the "mini disk" image on a virtual drive like others have suggested, but I just can't get it to work. It seems that the ability to get past this protection has dwindled as the patches increased.

Am I screwed?

It's not that easy, there's a lot more thing that must be fixed

It depends on what level of the protection that is used, some use a very light scheme, others implement the protection to its full "power" thus making it harder.

Check target, kill antidebug, dump the whole thing, fix stuff, rebuild the mofo,
check again, wipe some stuff out like cd-checks(optional), tag the bastard ;)

please post a screenshot of exact error message and directory structure in game (i don't own the game, but maybe we could workaround this)

maciozo,

Here is a screenshot of the error I get along with the directory structure. It is the English version of the game:

http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/9820/bderrorsi1.jpg

The div.exe and protect.dll files are different dates and sizes in the English version, so if you want me to email you those files you can PM me.

Thanks!

maciozo 11-08-2006 09:29

this is definetely not the protection's error, but the exe's (or a dll's) routine to check language version. i'll try to get this game (or buy since it was bundled in a magazine in poland) and then i'll play with it.
if anyone can, please send me registry entries for the game (of course without serials/keys/bla bla) on my mail maciozo_at_gazeta.pl

dudenyc2001 11-08-2006 10:14

OK I just sent the reg file and also the English 1.47 div.exe, which you can compare with the Polish version one.

Thanks

maciozo 11-08-2006 11:44

ok, so obviously we have a lang information in the registry file. please try a cheap trick renaming English to Polish inside the registry and use the polish EXE. sadly, i cannot get polish protected EXE for comparison because the stupid publisher wrapped it inside clickteam patch maker :/
i'll get 1.47s for other languages

dudenyc2001 11-08-2006 12:11

Changing English to Polish in the registry still brings up the same error. That would be something if it worked! :) The protected Polish EXE should be in the 1.47 patch, if there's a way to extract it.

maciozo 11-08-2006 12:16

hmm, so we can cross that out - probably it is used only by the update program. comparing russian and english exes there are several differences at the beginning of the file, but both are encoded  still, i'll try to workout something...

omni555 11-09-2006 09:45

Crack for one lang and NOT another???

OK, so the crack has been produced for the Polish version of the game. Is there any reason that one cannot be produced for the ENGLISH version???

I am sitting here with DB useless on my system right now. I played through about 20% or so of the game, but recently when I moved I misplaced the Play CD. I still have everything else, but I cannot continue playing the game!!!

A crack would be very nice to have right about now.

BTW, I tried the Polish crack, and the opening credits and intro video go just fine, but when the load screen appears the load bar fills up to about 3/4 and then everything just hangs and I get an "Incorrect version" error. Is that what others have been getting???

Joe Forster/STA 11-09-2006 09:50

Well, you should find your original CD until a crack becomes available.

I was getting the same error, but I gave the mini-image of BD another try and it finally worked. It turns out that the one on gamecopyworld is the one to use. There seems to be another mini-image file out there that doesn't work, at least it didn't for me. The other step I had to do was run StarForce Nightmare to disable the second IDE channel.
