can not load Onimusha bladewarriors
 

after checking the memory card it came up a red screen of dead so i remove the memory card and retry but it still the same.
same problem with orginal and backup disc
i used ritekG03

You have a Magic 2 on a 39001? I thought the Magic 2 was for R series consoles. Versions 5 and 6.Could be wrong though

i am not sure about my chip is a apple or magic 2 chip, if magic 2 only for V5 and V6 then my chip will be apple because i need to used bighap's method to load Splinter Cell to play

yes its a 2x toc check game i had the same problem on my magic 3.1 v7 unit it will load then ROSD but it works fine on my v9 dms3 system so u will have to get a new mod chip if u want to play this game

I backed up Onimusha Blade Warriors using DVD Decrypter...but I have a V10 with a Magic V.

theres only 2 ways to play this game on ur apple eather get another mod chip or use swap methods to play if u went swap methed all u would need is eather a no solder or filp top then just use the apple to load the cd loader disk then do the swap with the game and it wll work :) u can get a no solder for v5-7 for like $10 and download the cd loader at www.swapmagicfix.com

I backup Onimusha Blade Warriors it works ok. I got magic v and v7. I used recordnow to backup.

So it's unplayable on a system chipped with the Magic 3 chip? I get the redscreen of death after the title screen as well.

Do you have the older apple chip, or the Apple Pro? I ask this beacuse with the Apple Pro you shouldnt have this problem?

Yes, if this game has the TOC check and you have a V7 with a magic 3.1 then you may have the same problem. What version is your PS2?

I'm currently at work, I'll check when I get home. What should I lookfor again? It's been so long since I had it modded, I forgot how to Identify what version it is........:eek:

i think i have the older apple chip because my mod chip had been installed about 3 years

i have a messiah 2 pro..
and after i load the game..
and get the memory card.. screen
loads then i get the red screen..

What can i do?
maybe is a bad backup?
this is the only game giving me this problem..

its a 2x toc check game ur mod chip wont get past it u will eather have to get a newer mod chip or go swap style for this game but they have not made a loader for it yet so u will prob have to get a new mod or wait awhile and get the loader but u would need eather a flip top or no solder mod to use the loader with and the loader is free :)

well if u have a v7 i would go with a duo chip or apple pro

if u have a v9 u can get a matrixml or smart chip or magic V 50k or if u plan to get the hard dirve i would go with dms3 which is what i have and it has a flash that well be out soon to allow ur hd to work with the modded unit so far thats the only chip that has hard support but all those chips will play this game :)

so the best deal would be the dms3 2.0?
