You can get Riteks for way cheaper then that.

Read my sig, to see what my favorite media is :)

rubber2k1 22-03-2004 19:59

yeah if you buy a 100pk:(

LeonC 22-03-2004 20:55

No, You can get a great deal on a 50 pack.
I bought a 50 pack of G04s off ebay for 50 dollars (including shipping)

I would never buy a pack of 100, I would have so many left over.
I rarely back-up my PS2/Xbox games anymore. I have tons of space on my Xbox hard-disk anyways ...

patch god 22-03-2004 22:34

Taiyo Yuden.

Sold as TDK 4x DVD-R. Made in Japan.

The best.

StartingLine 23-03-2004 07:40

ritek... for ps2 and princo for xbox and movies!
:D

rubber2k1 23-03-2004 08:40

So how is a 25pk for $25 different than a 50pk for $50 ???? both equal a $1 a piece

mach7 23-03-2004 09:43

Every backup I have is on Ritek.

seaneyb2003 23-03-2004 12:23

ritek!:D

Riteks are better :) In my opinion anyways.

tictac 23-03-2004 12:59

Either ritek g04 based disks or datawrite red v2(princo). Datawrite red is dirt cheap at the mo. Blankdiskshop selling pack of 25 for £7.99 :D

dude are those datawrite red dvd-rs any good ive bought the yellow ones and their quite good. svp is getting really cheap now which is better for me. i always use the arita dvdrs nice and cheap and i can write at 2x

tictac 23-03-2004 13:42

I've never had a problem with datawrite red v2. I use them for ps2 and dvd movie backups and they work flawlessly for me and they are 4x disks which makes it all the better.

guod9 23-03-2004 13:56

i have my first pack of riteks on they way. i'm sure i can say they are my favorite very soon.

orion731 23-03-2004 19:47

Ritek....why use any thing else? I've used TDK, Verbatim, Princo, even memorex....nothing has better success rate than the riteks I get.

hunterevan 23-03-2004 23:21

Ritek G04 baby!

dust2dust 24-03-2004 01:42

riteks

although i prefer pioneer (if only they were cheaper)

patch god 24-03-2004 03:25

Taiyo Yuden is better than ritek. No joke.

"princo for xbox and movies!"
LMAO @ that! thats all xbox deserves!

seaneyb2003 24-03-2004 07:10

riteks all the way even though they do make some noise.

WE DO!

patch god 24-03-2004 22:40

Yea u do. Its not sold as Taiyo Yuden. TY makes discs for other companies.

Try some TDK. If it says "made in Japan" its TY (or maxell, which is almost as good). Works brilliant with any writer at max speed.

Dustpuppy 24-03-2004 23:01

I usually useing Ritek G04.
but I also use TDK (TY) and Verbatim Datalife Plus discs but it is rarely.

bobfffg 25-03-2004 02:57

Ritek G04 :D

superb media!

mxz800_2001 25-03-2004 11:10

Ritek G04 -R Works like a charm. 50+ PS2 backups and 247 DVD movie backups...NO problems yet

swatpup32 25-03-2004 13:42

What stores carry Ritek G04.

lufcfan 25-03-2004 15:05
