007 Everything or Nothing Patch

Does anyone know where I can find the 007 Everything or Nothing patch?

TylerDurden 20-02-2004 21:09

Patch for what?

Using either DVD2XBOX or PX HDD LOADER it will not run from the HD. It immediately goes to a black screen and stops. I tried launching with EVOX & UNLEASH. I don't think it's a media check because it works fine from a burned DVD copy.

I just tried to FTP it to the HD and it still doesn't work. Maybe it has to do with the name of the game file having too many letters??? James Bond 007 : Everything or Nothing.

Just tried XBE RENAMER to shorten the file name, still doesn't work. I'm sure someone will figure it out. At least it works from a DVD copy.

Has any one tried coping it to your PC than back to your XBox?
Maybe these apps are screwing some thing up.

JoyBoy 21-02-2004 18:08

Heh, Nice Thread ;)

AXmichigan 22-02-2004 14:47

2 tutorials i found:
1:
1. use dvd2xbox and copy it to the hdd.
2. reboot.
3. FTP from your PC to your XBOX
4. Delete the current .XBE's from the James Bond Folder(there should be 2 of them, one called "default.xbe" and the other called "driving.xbe"
5.Copy the patched XBE's by WAM to the folder.
6.Make sure your XBOX is set as NTSC
7.You're done, now go and play and quitchurbitchin'

2:
***Make Sure your XBOX is NTSC, if not change it in settings to NTSC cause PAL wont work***
1.do not copy it to your computer.
2.once it is copied to your xbox and u have rebooted it, ftp to it from your computer. when i say ftp, i mean, you open up your computer internet browser or whatever, and type in : ftp://usernamehere:passwordhere@IPaddresshere
an example of this would be: ftp://xbox:[email protected].
3.then you go to the drive that it is installed in in your xbox.
4. then you go to the folder (James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing)
5. then you delete the 2 files called default.xbe and driving.xbe.
6. then you copy the 2 files by WAM in there.--those 2 files by WAM are a patched version of default.xbe and driving.xbe.
7.reboot and play.

A co-worker of mine backuped this game. I asked if he had any problems and he said no.....WTF is this patch supposed to do?

TylerDurden 24-02-2004 06:42

@Quall,

Did your friend back it up via dvd or hdd? Its only a prob when backed up on hdd. I wanna buy this game to test myself, but I havent had a chance.

Tyler!

Quall999 24-02-2004 08:28

burned to a dvd.

rms2001 24-02-2004 09:58

Ya its only when you go to play the game off the HDD it crashes.

Go ahead and post a link to where the patches are. Nothing in the rules saying you can't post about a patch. Its not copyrighted, but you can't post where to get patched XBEs as they are copyrighted.

Well the real fixes are .xbe's so we cant post them. But there is also a ppf. I recommend making an image patching it and burning to a DVDRW. Then transfering it to your xbox hdd. That way you dont waste a dvdr and you get to play off your hdd.

I am submiting the ppf patch since there is no copyrights on that. But since we can only post text you will have to "save as" ppf. ;)

TylerDurden 24-02-2004 13:46

Now that I think about it. You can use Craxtion to make the iso, then patch the iso, then use Craxtion to extract the ISO's files getting a ready to FTP game.

Tyler!

AXmichigan 24-02-2004 14:37

yea
ppfs can only be patched on isos
not any other kinda file

MikeTee 24-02-2004 20:56

Thanks to all who helped & Tyler thanks for posting the patch link. Patched xbe files did the trick. Works fine from the HD.

Mike T.

infertility 25-02-2004 13:49

Mine works fine. I needed the two patched xbe's to run mine! Now, the game runs perfect, off of DVD and HDD. This game kicks ass!

captainvik 27-02-2004 02:22

I have the Pal Retail version of 007 Everything or Nothing

and the available "fixed" default.xbe & driving.xbe files do NOT work on the Pal release.

The game will still NOT load from Hard Drive when installed there and only gets to the main menu where you then select Start game and it freezes.

The Pal release true to EA's past form is obviously different compiled code and will need someone to "fix" the .xbe files like they did with the NTSC version before we Pal owners can enjoy to play from HD...

... until then just have to play from DVD .... whirrrr, whizzzz, fart, slooooooow loaddddssss....zzzzzzz

AXmichigan 27-02-2004 02:36

yea
if i can recall correctly, the patched xbes only work for the ntsc..
perhaps the ppf could work?

TylerDurden 27-02-2004 06:36

The ppf's wont work for anything but the NTSC version, because of a filesize difference.

The patch I posted are only fixes for NTSC 007.

Tyler!

AXmichigan 27-02-2004 08:54

okay then..
well..
i guess ur outta luck for right now.. till someone develops a new one...

Om3ga 01-03-2004 12:09

Is there any way to apply a master disc patch, so that it will work on a PS2 debug machine?

I'm guessing its the protection thats stopping me from doing it, but is there any way around this?

BTW, I'm on about the PS2 version of the game, just to avoid confusion :D

rms2001 01-03-2004 12:17

Wrong forum man.

Om3ga 01-03-2004 12:20

Damn, sorry about that..... been a long day :P

rms2001 01-03-2004 14:37

No problem
Do you have a Debug Kit for the PS2?

AXmichigan 01-03-2004 16:21

ps2?

To what part? LOL

TylerDurden 02-03-2004 05:38

We can have hdd's, not a big deal to mod, and I cant find anything in the xbox thats superior to the ps2.

Okay okay, you have me on the HDD, but they don't come stock with one. Install a PS2 modchip is kinda a pain with its 20+ wires, and small ass solder points.

And the XBox as many things going for it the PS2 dose not.
1) Four controller ports as to the PS2's two. Stock and you don't have to spend more money to get four.

2) HDD. Built in HDD to save game same files and have custom music. Not having to spend $25 on a memory card.

3) Build in networking. Don't have to go out and buy new goodies to system link, ect.

4) Easy to upgrade. If any thing takes a crap, its easy to replace.

5) Faster CPU and better GPU. Im some cases better games, and better graphics.

6) HALO!

Just face it Tyler, the PS2 has been out classed.

TylerDurden 02-03-2004 13:56

I still say they are both worthwhile consoles. If anything where one lacks the other makes up for it. I mean ps2 has soo many games to choose from its not funny. But I really hate the memory card thing. Basically all Im saying is that both are great. I really dont think either is better than the other.

Heck I think Ive been sayin that all along too.
