bad burn
when i made a backup i noticed that the bottom of the disk has a faint dark spot does this mean it didnt sucessfully write the disk?
please don't think i'm being rude or sarcastic because i'm not but ........... did you actually try the disc to see if it works?
or that if u dropped somethin on that disc? or its damaged physicaly? (scratches on the front...?
dark spot
nono i did try it and it works but i noticed a small faint dark spot that almost looks as if the disk wasnt written to. so i was just curious because i dont want it to get to that spot one day and mess up while im playing it. as far as i know it works.
is it just that disc?
or does another one have it too? |
it just happens once in a great while
check the discs before u burn em
that could be it |
check em for what?
not tryin to be rude jsut dont understand what im looking for i however do always make sure they are dust free on the bottom before i try to write on them |
I get them every so often myself. Dont worry about them. Ive had backups for years now without problems.

hmm k then..
youve had ones with little dark spots on em and they were fine?
Mine look more like if you breath on it the little haze that appears. Just smaller.
I dont get them often but I know I have some games with them and they still work fine. Its not a bad burn. Its more like a funny area in the dye. Tyler! |
thnx tyler
what media u guys usin?
I always use Ritek. I bet if you check back on your burns youll find at least one or more that have similar symptoms.
