What games are you playing?
 

With so many games released for Christmas I am interested in learning what everyone is currently playing and if anyone had any recommendations. I'm currently playing Max Payne 2 and Manhunt. Both games are excellent and I would recommend them highly. Manhunt is not for the faint hearted as it's unbelievably violent but good entertainment nevertheless. I did have True Crime: Streets of L.A. but part exchanged it immediately as it's a copy of GTA but instead of being the criminal you are the cop.... I hated it, although i'm sure there are some fans out there. I'm probably going to get MOH: Rising Sun next.

It's the japanese prologue edition. Got mine last week :) It's soooooooooooo nice :D

BTW Im still playin FFX-2 its the only one my daughter and I can watch and enjoy at the same time. Oh that and Simpsons Road Rage.

Yeah I too can not wait to get my hands on Gran Turismo 4. Not that 'Teaser', Prologue, but the full blown 500 Car beast (If you believe the hype). As best as I can tell, its the only game worth getting for my PS2 this year. Actually, add the next to Grand Theft Auto to my list too. Oh, and maybe Pro Evo 4 will come out towards the end of the year and is'nt Metal Gear Solid 3 due this year too :D
On Topic, Although its old now, I also love playing Virtua Fighter 4. Also purchased Manhunt on its release, seems good so far if a tad difficult. Just have'nt got the time the game deserves at the moment. My Nephew got Simpsons Hit & Run for Christmas and of course me being the big man that I am, I promptly stole it from him and had a blast on it. Gets my Thumbs Up.

right now im playing Jak 2, Ratchet and Clank - Going Commando, and Fatal Frame 2 - Crimson Butterfly ......very awesome games. i have already beat these games but there so good that im replaying them again :D

it's basically a broken down version of GT4. It's more aimed at users who have never played a GT game and practically 'breaks them' into the game gradually rather than the whole 'mod your car' etc

If like me you collect games then it's a good one to have as i've heard as soon as GT4 is released they will cease production of it.

Otherwise just wait for GT4......It's gonna be good :D

Prologue is a good teaser. There is still plenty of good racing just with fewer cars and courses to choose from.

Near enough all of it is in english apart from just before you start the race (ie where you chose drift/manual/auto etc. It's easy to work out which is which.

There's no difference between the Jap/Asia versions, they're both JAP NTSC versions just that i'm guessing lik-sang can get them cheaper from asia.

It's like the differences in PAL titles. The german versions still pal, usually still in english, yet manufactured elsewhere.

Same reason as me, I bought a copy to keep sealed (sad i know) as i heard that when GT4 is released they'l stop production of it.

You'l have to tell me what you think, the 5th track is fantastic. Bombing around a town with windy roads/steep hills and large dips....GREAT FUN :D
