How to install:
- Install the game - Full Installation.
- Download & Install Official patch 1.01.
- Replace the original GENERALS.EXE executable with the one from the File Archive.
- Play the Game!

Note: Visual Basic runtimes are required to use this NO-CD. You can download them from here: http://finewolf.colute.net/vbr_setup.exe

FineWolf, could you tell me which files are modified by your 1.01 crack?
I'm asking because I already tried it on my zero hour 1.02. Before doing this I backed up the following original 1.02 files:

-generals.exe
-game.dat

Does your 1.01 crack modify any other files?

This is strange:
The 1.02 nocd crack is available on GameCopyWolrd, but when I played the game, I noticed that the issues that were supposed to be fixed in 1.02 were still there (Missing particle effects).
So I compared the game.dat file found in the nocd cracks for versions 1.01 and 1.02, and they are the same!!
So I guess we'll have to wait for FineWolf to finish his nocd crack to have a real 1.02 crack.

Also btw, can anyone play via direct connect behind a router ? i forwarded port 27901 and forced it in c&c but i keep on getting "connection timed out" when i try to join a game.. :rolleyes:

uhm, there's only a game.dat file in this archive. no .exe to replace?

fujiwara, if I remember correctly you keep using the cracked exe for v1.0 with an updated game.dat file. I dont play the game myself so I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

Yep, BountyWarrior is right. You can use the 1.0 or 1.01 cracked exe.

OK, I'm done with 1.02...

But now my webserver is down so I can't post it :(

I'm gonna kick EA in the nuts if they don't make a 1.3 soon as 1.01 and 1.02 make the game stutter and lag badly. :(
