What NoCD fix works for Xlll?

I can't. GCW ain't got one. *** has one but the download link doesn't work. I've been trying for the past few days with no luck.

I had that problemo also but finally was able to get all the files. I d-loaded all 5 files plus the no CD fix and got strange errors when I tried to open them all. Tried other fix's to boot but the game crashes so those extra files must have to be used somehow. I wonder if anyone has actually got this game to run right with the fixed files??????:confused: or if there bugus...

Also, I wonder what that BitTorrent Tracker file\text is? Its just mumbo jumbo when I try to veiw it. It's not even d-loadable, just text! whats with that?

Nevermind, I figured it out. Those files are almost as strange as the game. I'm still not sure what the BitTorrent Tracker is. Can anyone tell me?

okay Sam, heres what we're gonna do

1) Install TheSHAD0W's EXPERIMENTAL BITTORRENT CLIENT of here http://home.elp.rr.com/tur/download.html
2) You can now properly open the torrent
3) Download the nocd-fix of here http://69.93.27.190/~suprnova//torre...0Fixes.torrent
4) Read the NFO file, copy the files, mount the small ISO and play.

When you're done, let me know if it works.

The game seems to be working fine since I figured out that I had to place those 5 zipped files (from FairLight) in the game folder and execute them with Patch of the FLT Files, use the DOS start exe file. Give it a try.

I wonder if there is a bottleneck or something I will find somewhere in the game without using The BitTorrent Tracker?

Call me inexperienced or just plain dumb but what software do you use to read NFO files. I just trash those becuase they won't open on my system.

Also mount what small ISO?:confused: For what?


This was the most complex NoCD fix I've ever seen :o . But I'm glad to find out it was not bogus:) . I should've known better since they are from good old Gamecopyworld. Right?

To read NFO-Files use WordPad.

all you need is the small patcher dos program, and thats it, itll patch the originals, turning them into what you get if you download the 20mb worth of the larger files.

100% Working
 

This works:

1. Use the five v1.0 fixed files from gamecopyworld.com and extract they in you game folder

2. Use the V1.0 Fixed Exe from *************.com and extract it too

So the game works fine with the the english and german version.

I tried it on different systems and they all work with this.

Thats pretty much exactly what I did. At first I just used GburnW's fix becuase I couldn't D-load GCW's fix at the time. So after I installed all the files from GburnW the game crashed until I ended up getting those 5 Farlight files at GCW and installing them to actually get the game working.
With the exception of the NoCD fix exe file from GburnW, I wonder if those extra files from GburnW were replaced with the five files from GCW???:confused:

The Red Dragon images, is for those who had installed fairlight releas, and not fixed .exe file or having problem with .exe file!
And it works! So if you have problem with your .exe file use the original .exe file fairlight fixed files and my image.

Unintentionally, probably, yes..... I still wish I had an answer to why this is a censured thing. Whats the big deal anyway? Misterious stuff here:confused: . I mean I could understand a link to a porn site or something nasty like that, or is it just a fluke, becuase that doesn't even come close.
