XIII german what nice protect.
 

XIII has a very nice protection i quess.
Its somethin like they had at O.Flashpoint but really workin.The game starts and runs good but then some funktions just FADE out, Then the game crashes to the desktop. ANd a window apears-CD COPY?
I tried everything-Mountin images of all Copy progs available.
i am very exited about what kind of prot. this is-and if it cracks .
Becuase the disk scan is at all possible loadin options.

i am lucky to have the original second disk.

Yep, the protection on this game (Tages) is supposed to be a killer...

But there is a release out from FAiRLiGHT.
So the protection seems to be cracked.
Hope it works better than the cracks for Moto Racer 3 (also protected with TAGES).

The supposed release from Fairlight is not cracked...

Ah, thats what they mean with:
"Boil the cds for about 5 hrs under a low heat to remove the protection. Install and Enjoy!"
in their NFO at NFORCE (Link)

Is there a work and real nocd crack for this game?

If you can't gather from the thread:
There is no crack for this game.

Well, here's a flawed workaround..
 

Try this. First make your backups of the originals, then do the install. Next, play the game with the original cd #2 in and save at the first possible moment. After that, exit the game, insert your copy of cd # 2 and load your saved game. It will run from that point. However, if you die and try to reload , it will kick you out with that pesky error and you'll have to restart. So, maybe that will help some of our incredible friends here make that patch. I don't know. I am not as smart as they are, but i try. Also, i noticed that,ocasionnaly, the mouse will stop working and i have to go into the control options and increase the sensitivity to get it back on track. It's a lot of trouble, but i'm trying to figure this out from a greenie standpoint. Hope i helped somehow. Oh, and thank you guys a lot for being there for us folks with 4 year old children. They just love to destroy our lovely games. At least with a backup, we don't have to kill them over it.

I make a full installation of the game.
But when i play the game, the game load alot of ??? from the CD 2. This CD must be in the CD drive.
Is this the copyprotection or need the game data from this CD?

Is there a way to make a nocd crack when the game needs data from a CD?

May I ask how can someone make it to level 12 without overcoming the 'CD COPY' error thingy?

Does 'nuked' means that just the executable file is corrupted (such that i can quietly wait for the working crack) or all(or some) of the content of the game is corrupted?

That means that there is already a cracked exe but it doesn't work properly. We have to wait... or play with the original cd

After you rescue General Carrington from his cell (as seen in the demo), you are supposed to escape the base using a cable car. To activate the car, you need to acquire a keycard.
The interesting thing is halfway through the level, a message will pop out saying "If you want to find the magnetic keycard, buy the full game" or something like that.
I've explored the level but I couldn't find the keycard therefore I guess this is why they say that the crack still doesn't work because it will only bring you up to that point alone.

Hope they'll fix this soon.

So how do I get past the magnetic keycard for the cable car section? Do I need another crack for that? Btw, is this game long?

I ahve been reading that deviance have taken it up on themselfs to make the new crack, and with there reutation im pretty sure they will rape it full stop....

People are shouting that after 5 days there should be a working crack, well, FLT thoght there was no crack, so it had taken them 2 days to make a crack which was not up to the job, they may have blown it of, and asked deviance to do it instead....

Who knows but as soon as i get the info i will let you all know i promise, ...
