Worms3D Crack needed
 

Hi,
As some of you might have mentioned, the crack on GCW does only circumvent the disc check in the launcher, but not the protected main executable (\bin\Worms3D.exe), which is protected by Securom *new* V. 4.85.07.0016.

I heard about an release of the whole game by an release group, which might contain an cracked Worms3D.exe. I can`t download such a huge file cos i`m only using a 56K modem. Could anybody check that out?

MMMmmmm. This seems proof to me that cracks are being used by people who've downloaded the Warez version. As you said, it seems to me that the Deviance file on this site is only of use to people with the Warez version, who presumably have the fixed main exe. already included in the illegal download. The file on this site is of no use WHATSOEVER to owners of legitimate copies, as a second fixed Exe. is required in order to run it. I just bought Worms 3d today, and am miffed that I am going to have to keep the original cd in the drive, and not stored safely away (From my meddling kids!). I'm sure this file will surface in time, but I wouldn't hold your breath, as the game is not released in America yet, and I don't have much faith that a Euro cracker can come up with the file, though I would love to be proved wrong.

Prove me wrong guys.

Sorry Guys, had no idea the crack that I sent to GCW was worthless to people who actually purchased the game. I've just sent a new crack archive to GCW with the cracked Worms3d exe and the cracked launcher inside (All credit to DEViANCE ;) ). Hopefully it will go up this weekend on the site.

I think the crack makes sense for ppl owning the game, because both the launcher and the main .exe are protected. The launcher uses (simple) cd-checks, which is made happy by a "copy-and-paste" burned CD, while Worms3D.exe is protected with SecuRom, and therefore doesn`t accept any copy (as can be read in the manual of DaemonTools 341).
I hope the crack will be up soon...

You can always host it yourself and post a link here. As long its a No-CD or a fixed exe.

Otherwise, submit it to GCW.

The file on Gamecopyworld is just the CD check launcher file. You need a second fixed exe in order to run the game. Bounty says the site will be updated with the new file, but we are just trying to get it to folks who need it now.

Needed this patch..

The only problem is that the game(or more probable? the crack) doesn't work with AMD + Nvidia rigs.

I have an AMD and Nvidia 'rig'. Game plays fine for me.

I had also the problem that Worms3D didn't start (black screen and return to desktop). The reason was my damaged OpenGL subsystem, which came with my new video card (switched from GeForce to Radeon), the Detonators weren't deinstalled properly. Therefore I used the Driver Cleaner as proposed on www.omegacorner.com and reinstalled the Omega Drivers for the ATI card once more. Problem was gone. Perhaps you also test your OpenGL with a simple other Application or "OpenGL Extension Viewer" (they won't start either).
