You musy be having a laugh, there is no differneces between the smart chip and the messiah 2 apart from the price.

The smart chip has quicker loading than the messiah 2 as well.

Also there is no point doing it for how cheap some people do it on fourms as its not worth the hassel and all the time it takes for very little money.

thats why everyone gets there ps2 chipped by dust he reliable cheap and know what hes doing plus he has his own warranty thingy as well try and beat it. I think the messiah 2's alot better than "smartchip" its kinda of a m2 clone and is exacly the same as a blue chip from www.consoleplus.co.uk. Get your ps2 done by dust hes recommended :) :D

The smart chip IS NOT A CLONE!!!

It has its own coding and is not a rip off price, it is as stable and as good at a cheaper price, unlike messiah 2

People seem to think, "Messiah2", oh can't having nothing elses its all crap. Open your eyes there is other mods on the market now that are just as good, I wish people would just give other mods a try and they would see that are just as good. For not a rip off price

Ehh you what i have not even been on this fourm before so you have not seen me around here before, and there is nothing wrong with my service.

I can supply any mod, messiah 2, smart chip, all in stock.

Its up to people, spend extra money for a chip that does just the same for a cheaper one, i know which one i would go for

dust is the same price with a more relible chip. And if the ps2 brakes he buys you a new one do you offer that? lifetime warranty on wiring 3 months on the mod chip

FOR the 3rd time the messiah 2 is not more reliable!!!!!

And anyway he was not cheaper hes only doing it cheaper now because i said £60.

I don't do things any cheaper, if so one goes i'll do cheaper, fine they do cheaper, get dust to do it, in the end i don't mind, but i don't do for less than £60 as its not worth the hassel and time.

I offer 3 month warranty on all consoles this covers, labour the mod chip. Any future problems due to console fault are cover by a low repair service.

If i break a console i'm not going to go oh sorry heres your broken console. I get a new one

I hate to do this. no thats not true I love it actually lol, but, dust has received Smartchip samples from me, sooooooooooooo he is in a perfect position to tell us why the M2 is 'superior' lol.

The Smartchip is not an M2 clone nor is it a bluechip clone. Unfortunately, the comments posted in here are uneducated because quite simply nobody has tried/tested the chip for themselves.

Smartchip boots every game 100% of the time regardless of media. It also boots from the browser. The reason why it is faster than the M2 is because it bypasses the PS2 logo. Some people like to have the PS2 logo (personal preferences) other dont care so long as the games boot. Others, love the fast boot (especially with rips).

What other differences are they, oh yes PRICE! Is that important? I think so.

Now Peter has fitted both the M2 & the Smartchip so is in an educated position to comment. Dust is also in that position, anybody else?

To finish this off & prove that I'm not just taking sides, Dust is a top guy & quality installer. I would not hesitate in reccomending him to anybody that requires a machine chipping.

But then, so is Peter!

oh ok calm down i didnt know i would rather get dust to chip mine at the same price as peter chipping a ps2 with the smartchip which i wouldnt want and rather get a m2 alot of people have recommended them and never heard it on this forum sorry.

Indeed I can post pics of the Mars2 in a v9, Ripper2lite in V9 or even MagicV in V7....... All new chips. Maybe thats because I feel its important to move with the times & not get left behind. :rolleyes:

After all the reported problems with M2 & v9 machines, why would you want the M2 over the Mars2?

In my opinion, Mars2 is the most reliable chip available for v9 machines. I can offer my opinion because my information is factually based & not speculative.

The condition is; You fit a Messiah2 and Smartchip into the same machine then report to everybody on here your findings.

What winds me up is when peeps say the Messiah2 is better than such & such.................... when they have absolutely no experience of the chips they are discussing.

What you should say is, I have the Messiah2 & my m8 has the Messiah2 & it works perfectly (which it does). When peeps stop jumping to conclusions I'll stop jumping on threads!

Very few peeps in the Uk have got their stickies on the V9 rippa2lite & mars2 mods. I've emailed you pics of my installs with those chips, so who is more qualified to pass comment.

Peeps now come to me & insist on the Smartchip. One guy actually insisted on the MagicV (cos thats what I fitted in his m8's machine). On that occasion I gave him the Smartchip, I was only testing the MagicV & its not as good as the Smart.

i donno what to do hehe. If you send me the chip i might be able to get my friend to do it he has a degree in electronics so i donno or should i get it done by you hull chiper or pjbailey.

My offer of a sample chip is for testing/ comparison against the M2. If you're just after a free chip & not interested in removing it & fitting the M2 into the same machine then the offer is withdrawn.

We're in berkshire.
