Just try another burning program. You dont absolutely have to use Alcohol.

it could be a corrupted media table in the firmware, have you reflashed your drive at some point? :(
I had a similar problem when I reflashed my A05 with a particular firmware, one of the media recognition id's had been removed from the media table and I was left with a box of 5 unreadble/unwritable discs. Good job I have an A04 in work which still burns them :D if using different software doesn't fix the problem you might want to consider flashing the firmware with a new version, the pioneer page at rpc1.org is a good place to start :) look here |
Ur not trying to burn a cd image onto a dvd r u???

no
it is a cd-r but all the programs i have tried are rejeckting my cue files so im going to try to update my firmware thanks |
Dude you cant just get a cdr image and then burn in onto a dvdr. You need to burn it on a cdr.

Well that part confused me. Anyways, Just use Disc Juggler to burn only the .bin. With Disc Juggler you dont need to use a .cue sheet. Just select the .bin as your image and choose MODE 2 CDXA and your good to go. Tyler! |
aha
oh i meant cd-r :)
well im going to try to just burn the bin file then. thanks /Looke |
yeah its works fine now
i used DiscJuggler :) thanks for the help :) /Looke |
does anyone kno were i can find the whole discjuggler program
can only find the demo (burn at minimu speed and only 700mb) |
|
LOL. Very good.
|
I sure thats where u got yours from!!
|
hehe
if im going to burn a dvd .iso should i use mode 2 and cd xa then? or is that only for cd-r`?
|
If ur burnin a dvd .iso file use record now max or record now dx.
Then u don't have to worry about settings. |
Mode 2 cdxa is only for cdr. Use Mode 1 for dvds.
