WHen using the No CD patches on this Board on the Jedi Academy game that just came out I get a file size mismatch when trying to run the patch. Single player still asks for the cd. Any help would be appreciated

Which crack did u download?

I downloaded Bughunter/EVO Jedi v1.0 sp/mp(all) no cd-patch and Technic techpatch Ja.exe. Both comes up with a file mismatch for Jasp.exe when I run the patch.

coz all cracks available on GCW are for the BETA
wait for the proper gimpsrus crack in the next days.

so guys, hows that non beta no cd crack commin? think that will solve the invaild folder issue crap?

I'm going to send out the new gimpsRus crack for the retail version by email. I haven't tested it for multiplayer (or even singleplayer), but I'm willing to send it out until GCW updates. As usual, make sure you got at least 500Kb free space in your email account and pm your email address to me.

Edit : first batch went to non-fiction, Noel and Xeavor.

The rzr crack for 1.0 retail works, you just gotta start it thru jasp.exe.

-edit. seems it's a fixed .exe, not cracked. Still gotta start thru jasp. No idea on MP.

The new grus crack, why doesn't it come with jamp.exe? it only crack single? or is the loader that comes with it suppose to take care of that, cause if it does, mine doesn't work.

Apparently you'll have to wait a bit longer for the multiplayer crack, I'll keep an eye out for it and announce here when I've got it. So it works perfectly for singleplayer ?

GimpsRus made a final crack release (for the retail version, there first crack release for this game was for the leaked beta version), here: STAR WARS: JEDI KNIGHT ACADEMY v1.0 [ENGLISH] SINGLE PLAYER/MULTIPLAYER NO-CD/FIXED EXE (507KB)

Its on another site, which has been banned from this forum so just wait for GameCopyWorld to update.

Works good in multiplayer too.

...hmm...mind explaining how you go the mp to work? There is no jamp.exe with the new release. What does come with it didn't crack it for me, still said i had to insert cd.... :(

Can anyone point me to, or send me a working no_cd patch/crack for Jedi Academy retail sp? ;)

in the GiMPSRUS release, there is a fixed SP.exe and a loader
for the MP.exe.
execute the loader to play MP without cd.

I'm still sending it out, but only xenn sent me a pm with his email addy today so he's the lucky winner of the new gimpsRus crack :D

Does anyone get kicked out of multiplayer games with this error?

"ERROR: BG_EvaluateTrajectory: [CLIENTGAME SIDE] Unknown trType:116"?

I'm using the latest gympsrus patch which gets me into multiplayer... the razor release's .exe wasn't cuttin the mustard... :)

Who knows....could be some triggers in the game somewhere....only time will tell.....

Im using this newest GimpsRus no-cd and still got Invalid game folder when trying to play mp...can any1 help?
(this crack is not working with ASE too)

I'm also using the newest release from gimpsRus hosted on GCW.
SP works perfect, MP not.
After running MP with the loader, it still wants the CD when I try to join a game or want to start my own.

Guess I'll have to play online with CD until a proper loader is released :(

I've tryed ALL NO-CD Cracks from GCW and the Multiplayer doesn't work with any Crack.

What is wrong, i have the German Version from Release 19. September.
Is there a MP-No-CD Crack available to play?

It happens that he asks for the Disk 1 or it came a Error during joining the Server.

Please help and release a new working crack.

We'll all have to wait for new cracks it seems. Those of you who want to play online without the cd, could also try out Alcohol120%. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record going on and on about A120%, but that's because it really works :D

the gimp final no cd patch dont work online at all, you launch it with the launcher but when you click to join a server it runs a cd check again and tells you no cd in drive.

Has any one another idea beacause i have the Orginal CDs but no A120% or something like that. ???

Download Daemon tools, its free and it works perfect, just mount CD1, thats what im doing at the moment and multiplayer works perfect with it :D
Only draw back is you have an extra 700mb on your hdd, but at least you dont have to keep putting the CD in.

Can't Get Single Player Crack To Work
 

I have a retail copy and I always get a message requesting disc number one when I try to use any of the single player cracks. Most of the people here seem to run that part fine. Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? :confused: By the way, that isn't a smiley face with question marks over it -- that's a picture of my head. Kids were tough on me in school. -sniff-sniff-

First of all, does it work when you insert the cd ? If so, which cracks did you try ? Try to post direct links here please...

The game works fine with the CD, although it plays slower than it would with a working crack/fixed exe. I've tried all the cracks/fixed exe's that have been posted (GumpRus and Fl@sh, and the rest). Technic's "setup.ini" installs/replaces fine but when I run the patch it says the game is already cracked (which it's not, I remove the program and delete the directory every failed attempt). The others just ask for a CD after "jasp.exe" is replaced. I've been trying to launch the game the normal way, from the launch menu-- is that wrong? Sorry about the direct link-- I deleted it as soon as I noticed your post.

I think that was a misunderstanding. I was asking you to post direct links to the cracks you had tried, so I could check and see which cracks you already tried. On this board direct links are allowed, as long as they don't break any other board rule.

I don't have much experience with forums, unfortunately, so I don't know how to make a direct link (I obviously thought it was something else). If it's necessary and you'll tell me how, I'll be happy to make one. The only crack listed on GameCopyWorld that I haven't tried is "Jedi Academy v1.0 SP/MP [ALL] No CD/Fixed EXE #2" by gimpsRus. I'm playing the retail version.

Bah, don't bother about the links, it's not necessary. About the crack, you'll need the new retail version crack. Send me a pm with your email address and I'll send it to you, since GCW doesn't seem to have it up yet.

Edit : sent the retail crack to Namor, Lord Exodus and davidjbutton. If you want it, pm me with an email address with 520K free. Multiplayer still doesn't work right, but singleplayer should.

Is a working no-CD for the retail version of Jedi Academy going to be posted by GameCopy world? I can't get my copy to work with what is up there. :(

Why is it two Jedi Academy threads and one is official and one is label "Securom 4.8/ US Version Jedi Academy"...shouldn't the second one be locked? :confused: and check out GCW becuase they have lots of Jedi cracks there....:D

only way to get MP to work with a copy of Jedi Academy.... for now....
 

The only way i can get MP to work in Jedi Academy with the copied version is to replace all the exe's with the cracked ones (gimpsRus cracks) im using the 1.2mb ones. The startmp exe didnt work i just got the same old cl_parsepacketentities ****. i guess we all gotta wait a while for that one still. also you have to put the cd in for it to work. so replace the exe's and use the cracked jamp exe that comes with the gimpsRus crack and put in the copied cd...and mp will work. its the only way to get a copied version to ACTUALLY work. hope this helps out some people!! :) :) :) :) :)

The "official" thread is a thread about the CRACKS, the other one about making BACKUPS. Plenty of difference enough to let both continue. We only close extra threads in the first week when the official thread is a sticky.

MP Fixed .exe??
 

Anyone want to give me the heads up on the MP fix?? I have played with the Sp fixed .exe and workes well. but when I run the start-mp.exe I get "please insert CD1" this is from the final download and with retail imaged disks any help would be grateful


Well after some deliberation i have found that the newest patch workes for MP. just follow the directions and Whalla fun for all. I do believe it still requires a CD though so be forewarned.
