Do not order anything from these CROOKS. I ordered a PS2 pre modded with a messiah2 v1.33. They sent me a v7 that only boots cd-r games. dvd games boot maybe 1 out of 10, original movies do not load at all. The laser clicks so bad it sounds like it is going to come through the case.When i emailed them they said i knew nothing about copying games, (yeah, right) and that they never had a bad system :rolleyes: They said that the prassi primo cd that my AO3 burner came with was no good for PS2 and they never even heard of recordnowmax. (and they said i know nothing lol). They said I should use nero. Dont all of us use RNM, clonecd or alcohol??. They then said in order to send it back it would cost me shipping plus a bench fee for them to look at it. When i said i would just return it and get my money refunded they said they would charge me a 50% restocking fee. Either way i go i am screwed so i guess i will get someone else trustworthy to fix it, any ideas.BTW every backup i have will boot perfect on a PS2 that warlock modded for me a few months back with a magic2 Rmod. No reason they shouldnt load on a messiah2 is my thinking.

I also suggest you take alook inside to see that you do indeed have a Messiah 2 (1.40 I take it).

just visited their website.....they do claim to have a messiah2 pro 1.33, this should have been a clue as there is no 1.33, the latest on the market is 1.30 (charlie hit the wrong key)
the chip they claim to be a messiah2 pro is actually the hk messiah, a fake (not even a messiah2 clone). they lied to you, make them know that you are aware that they lied to you and see what happends.

Based on the arrogant email i recieved from them if i send it back they will claim no responsibality. I will be charge and it still may not be fixed when i get it back. I"m already out $279 so i think i will cut my losses with them. Guess i should open it up and see if it really is a messiah. Seeing as you are i doubt Charlie_ps2 i take it there is no messiah v1.33 ??. As advertised on there website. Oh well i should have known $279.00 was to good to be true.

We posted at the same time kool, Anyway thanks, i dont know much about the no swap chip and installs, someone always does that for me i just copy the games and play :) God i just hate getting ripped. I am going to go to every forum i know of and post this so someone else dont get took. It just seemed like a good idea to buy a pre mod, last time i had to beg to get a chip installed ;) @warlock:) . The price seem fair so...

just out of curiousity....what causes bad clicking of the laser. is it he laser itself, the modchip, or bad loading tray? i ask this cause my laser clicks on some games that i burn using RNM. and when my laser clicks i already know that i have to press the reset button again to start the boot sequence again. and one some cases the laser picks them up quickly with no laser clicks....hmmm

Come on Brian, i may be slow but i would never make you beg lol. Sorry to hear you got ripped man.@freq, laser clicks are usually the laser trying to focus on the media.

so ur saying that it is caused from bad media or a a kinda bad burn. if its the media being burned on then i dont why sense i use ritek for all of my gaming needs. so in a batch that i buy theres bound to have a few defective ones?

You will get more clicking when you have a laser that isn't in the best of shape, using cheap media, or cd media in general. Ritek generally causes less clicking as it is superb media. Try some cheapo media and you will see the difference in noise and likely loading time too. As far a getting some bad discs, hey it can happen with any brand on occasion.

I have tried memorex, TDK, sony, verbatim, even cheap compusa dvd-r. Some do click worse than others but its hard to load on any media. Dust2dust do you think it could be a bad laser. I mean sometimes it does load so maybe it isnt the chip.

Your laser could need a cleaning or he took out your nice v7 laser and swaped with an old piece of sh*t laser.

i dont know why my laser would click though then if i use ritek and my ps2 is a v.7. but it only clicks on certain games and not on others which to me is kinda strange.

and how do i find out if my ps2 laser has been swapped as well?

Either way if he's not happy with what he got, and they actually SHIPPED the WRONG product, its consumer and mail fraud. It would simpy be a matter of contacting the right people. I know it may not be worth it, but its stuff like this that REALLY burns me, and theyll get away with it because noone thinks its worth it to persue any legal recourse.

sounds like a bad laser,could been a swap,could be dirt in it
also heard of a few v7 that needed laser alignment white cog before it play dvdr,ive never seen 1 but charlies has had a few

either way it should been tested and known to be ok with one brand media
ask them what brand media they use for testing
night send them pleny emails telling them its being followed on all the forums,they not want hurt there business u keep pushing u should at least get it sorted and working even if it is a hk messiah

A friend of mine who also ordered from them but never recieved a console canceled his order. This guy who's name is "michael walker" in case anyone knows him, emailed me saying it was my fault that the guy canceled the order (because i was complaining) and he was going to refund my money, charge me a restocking fee and sue me for slander and tried a few other threats. I just boxed it up, called the credit card company to dispute the charge and sent it back. He sends me a console that dont work correctly and expects me to brag on his work and talk my friends into ordering from him. i think not. To me i wouldn"t be a very good friend if i allowed that would i? Anyway i doubt this guy is for real. He claimed he owned the messiah company ;) .Funny i thought it was our friends in the UK that first came up with the messiah i know it was available in europe first. Also, Charlie and Dust, correct me if i am wrong but arent you 2 the main messiah guy's. I know everyone swears by your chips and you know for sure there product isnt a true messiah2 pro because a v1.33 doesnt exist right. If so thats false advertisement so let him try to sue me . I cant wait!!!

Hi I myself was a victim of VDO specialties and Michael Walker. Do not be alarmed with his threats as he also said hed sue me. I ended up with 4 fake Messiah Pro 2 chips as well that dont work. Big story on why I ended up with four but anyways if you want you can see mine and plenty of other stories regarding the bad experiences with vdo specialties at www.ripoffreport.com or just do a search in general with vdo speciaties as key words so you can see how much Crap comes up on them. Plenty of complaints everywhere.
