Problem with Sims superstar no cd crack
 

I've copied and pasted the .exe file to the games directory, anyway..the game comes up just fine, but I can't click on anything, I get "No interactions available" message for anything I try to do. I can't even get my sim to move from one place the another. I get the same message when I click anywhere on the floor to move him. Does anyone else have this problem? and if so pls. let me know how to correct it. Thanks in advance.

there is a crackfix out from fairlight wich solves this problem
(don´t use the one from deviance)

I got the crack fix but my game just crashes when it finishes loading...:( Can anyone tell me how to fix this???

I am having the same problem (used Fairlight's crack). Which one did you try?

i downloaded the file and patched it and i still have same problem where i can't do anything, i cant use items, i can't sit or move people

Yea as far i I can tell everyone is having the same 2 problems..either it crashes at startup...or you can get in but cant move or mess with anything...just have to wait for "another" patch fix.

A new fixed crack was released by Fairlight that solves the problems mentioned. Just be patient and it will show up soon...

i just downloaded that one and it is still having problems letting me do anything with the sims you cant move them or use objectsl

keep getting message that there is nothing associated with that item

Did you try the Deviance crack ?

the only file i saw & downloaded was by fairlight. if there is another file i would love it.

Maybe a mirror site is not yet updated. Check the other mirrors and get the Fairlight Pack2 release (date 5-18) from GCW. It works ok...

I have tried the new crack, but after playing for a little while or If I make two friend phone-calls or go downtown/stusiotown more than one it crashes to desktop - anyone else have this problem??

We tried the game for about 5 hours (with all expansions and plenty of extra stuff loaded) and it only crashed once. There seem to be a few bugs (1-2 functions not fully working) but they are probably game bugs and have nothing to do with the Fixed exe.

Okay, I've tried the newest fixed.exe by fairlight, and the deviance fixed.exe but neither works. I can't even get past the Loading Screens. I haven't a clue what to do to fix this, can anyone offer any advice. I've even completely reloaded all of the expansion packs. :confused:

Same problem here as j3rk3.

Text starts scrolling on bottom.

I think the last one I see is Empyreal Entities or something like that and then the game crashes back to desktop.

Must be something else wrong with your system then, seems to run fine for me.

*hmms* well if it was just me I'd think it was just something wrong with my system... but since three (possibly more) of us are having the exact same problem, perhaps there is just a step we are missing somewhere? I, myself, am not all that great with getting things to work. So if maybe there is someone who is a bit better with computers could offer assistance, it would be wonderful, I've been looking forward to playing with this expansion pack since I heard it was coming out. :D

It seems that the latest expansion is buggy. Just wait and see if/when EA releases a patch... :rolleyes:

souldrinker just uses the (nuked) deviance exe

I am also having problems getting Superstar to run. I have all the expansions installed (all but one I own) and I have the updated file from Fairlight, but I can't get past the loading screen. I just wanted to chime in and add my count on the "not working" side.
